Nice rig. Not that I will ever need to this but I watched 😂
Man I wish I had one of those machines.
Very awesome!!
Dang! I've installed and removed a lot of tracks.... this is easier. Thanks.
I just make it look easy, but it wasn’t. Tracks are well used and I couldn’t get any of the pins out. Think it’s easier and faster the old way. I’ll make a video explaining appreciate you watching
Nice setup Boone’s. If I had something like this I’d go ice fish up to any mountain or lake haha. I bet you make the neighbors jealous with your tools.
The neighbours are cool the rest of the worlds jealous But I work my ass off for the things I have
Just an incredible video. I would love to see you do a video where you finish showing all the areas that need grease and what you should be looking for when inspecting chains etc.
Will do, have a front axel with chain slack that’s just going to ware out something else. Thanks for watching ✌️
that's a lot of work to get those tracks on....but you do this job in no time - you're really good at it! :) i'm lucky that my atv with it's mountain tires is enough to plow snow in my driveway......
Was more work the what it needed to be all the track pin where seized couldn’t get any out tried it like that show it can be done definitely not the easiest way
How often do you grease and oil the bearings and chains? I just bought a 2001 Vangaurd with tracks and I don't have a manual to tell when to grease. I'm thinking every 3 to 4 hours on it then grease everything .
I grease it about 3-4 times a year, waiting on a axel for mine blew a bearing, I didn’t take the plugs out she filled with water and ice formed blowing out the bearing.
It was acting up so you throttled it?
That doesn't look like the standard argo plow. Is it a regular vehicle plow and if so how does the argo handle the weight? Could you provide pictures of the mounting hardware please. I would love a plow for my Conquest but the Argo ones are so darn expensive I can't justify $2000.00. Thanks for the videos and the help.
Bought the machine for $6000 everything came with it so feel you on the price of a plow. It’s a 7 foot Argo plow from Argo. Works good on my third winch though but a 2000lbs winch is no big enough to begin with.
@@ImBoones I just recently picked up a set of used super tracks I'm excited for the snow to come. I run a 5000lbs winch so I shouldn't ever need to worry with that. Thank you for the response.
Had the super tracks on my last eight wheeler. That’s what I need is a 5000lbs winch on mine no issues on the response
@@ImBoones how did you like the super tracks? Did you use the mainly for plowing or did you also get them out in the mud?
Brendan McGrevy find the smaller tracks work better and only used them in snow. Think the rubber tracks are the best from what I’ve seen for the mud. Sorry for the delay in messages I’m archery hunting deer sitting in my blind as I write this.
Has anyone done this with a 8x8 with rubber tracks ?
Not sure but having the back rack helped to ratchet strap the track and still took some time but I can’t get the pins out of the track had no choice
What ya think Big B
I dunno 🤷♂️ thinking good thoughts lol
@@ImBoones LOL
i thought you just said you're not perfect? I'm confused
Not the only one that’s confused
