So it is true you can play the game offline right? I mean I just wanted to know if the story mode is still OK.

Yes story mode and amiibo challenges can still be accessed.

@@TheBossmannThank you for telling me that. I haven’t played the first Splatoon before. I got introduced in the sequel and then I had the third on my birthday so I wanted to get the first Splatoon sometime so I could play the story mode. I know people are going to Pretendo for online service with the Wii U but I didn’t care about that to be honest. Again thank you for telling me that’s offline.
