One of Glee's biggest problems was character continuity tbh. Every single character on the show will randomly do something super out of character for them and you just have to go along with it. Or sometimes they just change their personalities altogether. And in later seasons they basically just introduced new characters with the same personalities and plot points as old ones lol.

Mike and Tina are literally the only unproblematic couple on this show... They're also my favourite... And like, one of the only ones I even cared about... Hahahaha
I feel like that's the only good thing that came from keeping Mike in the background as a character who barely had a storyline. He didn't become problematic like every other character on the show...

I actually loved Mike and Tina, but also loved Finchel and Britana. I also loved Quinn and Sam.
Great reaction dude. Coach Beiste has to be one of the best additions to the show past season one. Also Brittany's "Stop the violence" during Santana and Quinn's fight is my favourite part of the episode.

Fun fact about Sam...I'm pretty sure he was introduced to the show to eventually become Kurt's love interest. Before season 2 aired Ryan Murphy said Kurt would be getting a new popular jock boyfriend. I don't know how far into season 2 you actually are so I don't want to spoil things but a certain other character's story arc was originally quite different as well and I don't think he was intended to become part of the main cast. Glee went based off of fan reactions sometimes....except for everything after the first half of season 3 when things started going downhill lol.

Tbh one of the reasons I think s4 is so bad is because the fans were too attached to the seniors so we got that awful new York storyline

Yea you get some Santana in S2 but S3 is where you get the real amazing Santana.
Laura Filmore s2 and s3 is her time to shine
And then she just goes to being a shitty person again because the writers were extremely stupid in the later seasons. Although I still kind of hated her in season 2, she became a better person and season 3 gave me a lot of hope for her development as a character, but like with so many other characters, that all got ignored in season 4 and smashed in season 5.
And in season 6, she was almost never there, but just in general I think her romance with Brittany was the only good thing about her in a lot of the later episodes.
OMG the bathroom Telephone scene... iconic.

6:23 This episode was kind of one of the lowest points for Rachel - and people keep coming back to it because she didn't get suspended. They're equally as mad at Mr Shue as they are at Rachel.
I really wish someone moderated these comments, because while i’m sure everyone means well and are just excited to give little facts or talk about their fav, plenty of them walk the line of spoiler territory 😔

Ben Long Will spent the whole of season one complaining about how mean sue was, but as soon as the shoe is on the other foot he jumps at the chance to be the bully

i hate what they did with artie's character. they made him so unlikable . when kevin mchale (the actor) is one of the sweetest nicest and kindest people . because i'm a massive fan of kevin i will always put artie at number one but i can see why people didn't like him. t's sad because he has , if not the best, then one of the best voices on the show.

Glee is a staple of my childhood and I do love it,so I'm looking forward to your reactions,but I must warn you....after season 3,this show kinda goes to shit. All of the seasons are enjoyable in their own way,but the writers just become careless by the end of 3 and the show just becomes a bit of a mess.
Myth damn it🤣 I'm currently watching the show and season 2 was so good, I'm sad that some others won't be as good. I don't wanna lose interest in s5😞.
@@megan1634 I'm currently rewatching and I'll finish season 5 later today. It's not as bad as I remember it. It's rough in the first half because they had to change the entire script last minute (because of Cory's passing), but the second half is pretty good! No spoilers: The show kind of re-invents itself in the second half of season 5, and it was a bold move but it worked really well! But if I remember correctly, season 6 turns to shit again. 😅

@@megan1634 Cory died 2 weeks before they were to start shooting for season 5. :( They postponed it a week, I think. So Finn "dies" (more like, is declared dead) in season 5.
