Living in a van in Los Angeles can be challenging, but here are a couple tips to make it easier. The city has provided maps that show you where you can park overnight.
I found a couple of the parks that have drink fountains with bottle fill adapters. That was clean enough for me, but I didnt find any spring water or anything. Took me a little while to get my routine down. Some of the parks have bathrooms the are open all day too.
@@TommyTague I am finishing up my overlanding mobile living space - BMW X5 50i. I will most likely be living in L.A. for a few months and was trying to find info on parking places. Apparently it is legal now to live in your car there and park provided it is 500 ft. From schools and other public places and the local parking restrictions are followed. Problem is... there's parking restriction on every street so "SURPRISE BITCHES!!!"
You the Man thanks for your time in inform the world brother
Legends say theres a van man that goes by the name of burger, that steals spots to park seconds before you park, from here to there like lightning.

Great advice, how about a van tour, tell us about yourself.
That is a good idea! I just got a new van at an auction, so that should be fun to share about :)
@@TommyTague Great, looking forward seeing it.
Great video! Sorry for one more question, was wondering whether there is somewhere in L.A. city where you can get free clean drinking water? Thanks

Hi dude great video, was just wondering where you take showers around Los Angeles? Cheers
I got a membership at 24hour, but also used the showers that are at the beaches for free
@@TommyTague Thanks!
No more green lines... they caught on I guess. Only red lines remain.
They took the maps down?
@@TommyTague maps still there but no longer shows green lines. Only red lines. Entered your exact address example to double check and no go.
