Sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I was dumb lost the account password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Titus Carlos instablaster ;)
@Jameson Vincent thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I am a life-long hardcore knitter (63 years old) and have just accidentally 'discovered' Tunisian crochet while searching for knitting patterns. Naturally, wanting to know more, I searched CZcams and found your amazing channel. You immediately became my go-to person for instruction in this delightful craft. I am currently binge-watching all the videos on your excellent site and have to say, Great job in explaining everything so clearly and thoroughly. Many, many thanks!
Welcome to the world of crochet. I've crocheted for decades and love it. I am learning to knit, slowly. It's nice.
It's wonderful that you discovered this. I've just found this channel myself and absolutely love it! May I ask how you've gotten on with the crochet since your comment? I do hope you're having fun and still learning new things đ
I TOTALLY agree with you.
Ein herzliches Hallo, ich habe heute diesen tollen Kanal entdeckt und ich bin ĂŒberglĂŒcklich. đ
Am I ready to make this?
Self-esteem:Yes!
Time:Yes!
Patience:Yes!
Money:oh hell NAAWWW!
I made this with the Caron one pound. You can get them as low as 3.99 and it's way more yarn than these.
After watching several of your Tunisian crochet videos. I took a free image off the internet of a Ninja Turtle! I opened Excel and made the columns and rows look like graph paper. Then I converted the image into a colored pattern. I am making a blanket for my granddaughter for Christmas. Can I just say I have been knitting for 50 of my 66 years! I am lefthanded and knit and crochet righthanded . It was just easier.
I L.O.V.E. the tunisian crochet for blankets!! It is wonderful. I would love to send you a picture, but I don't know how!
Off this video alone and your perfect, simple guidance, I was able to make this full blanket for my son! He's due in 3 weeks. I practically used the same color scheme but used blue heather and navy. Thank you for this video!
Many months later, and congratulations on your son and your blanket. đ„°
@@afropoppette Thank you for the kind sentiments! This blanket is holding up nicely. Kept him warm during the winter or cool walks. Also, is holding up well through the wash when placed in a fabric bag
@@Merswa you're welcome! Glad to know it's holding up well and got some great use with your li'l guy! Good thinking with the fabric bag.
I love, love, love that he is crocheting. My late husband loved that I knit and crochet and bragged on me, but wouldnt try to do it. My new husband is willing to try anything. He is a great carpenter and remodels houses, but anything else I want him to try with me, he jumps right in. It makes this hobby more fun for me. Kudos to Jacob. I'm using you as an example of what my husband can do if he tries.
You are AWESOME and should have be a school teacher! I've been crocheting 50 years and just discovered Tunisian. You show the little things (like making the yarn taught for no holes) and everything works. Thank you for the free tutorial. I am a widow and want to make my newest grandson a picnic type blanket for the shade. This is the exact pattern I wanted. I am now a dedicated subscriber! God bless!
OMG...beautiful blanket! And not just that, that was probably the BEST explanation of color changes and visual video I have seen to date on Tunisian crochet. I have looked for an explanation of color changes and weaving in the ends on different sites with no visual explanation. I taught myself to crochet and now I really want to learn to do Tunisian crochet. Oh yeah...subscribed! And I have to agree with many people in the comments...you have a wonderful teaching voice and you take it slow. Fantastic! If I could rate you it would be an A++++! Great job!
Can I some how get all those directions again if possible?
.
I sign on to this completely. I just stumbled on your videos today. Fantastic lighting scripting thinking and camerawork. And really fine crochet work.
Aslan16677 just replay the video đ
Liz Johnson....you have left nothing for me to say, except Ellie Johnson agrees with you 100%!!!
Tony you are an awesome woman, a wonderful teacher, patient, always smiling, love you sister
Hands down the best Tunisian crochet instructional videos on CZcams!! Thank you â€
This blanket is beautiful. You are one of my favorite people to watch for crocheting. You're very easy to follow.
Thanks Toni! I am starting this again. My phone is back with you, and your voice. How nice! Still working on the "bumps"!
you are one of the best instructors i have ever encountered. thank you.
This was my first time understanding Tunisian crochet. You are the only one who makes this easier to follow and I can so do this. Love your channel and all your fabulous teaching abilities.
I could say a thousand words, but none are as good as to just say Thank You!!
I've never seen color changing on tunisian crochet. You are a fantastic teacher.
That was a lovely tutorial. From scratch to finish without assuming your audienceâs crochet knowledge. Canât wait to start!!
I love this border paired with the gingham! It really ties it al together and polishes it off beautifully. And the pom poms are adorable!
I have never seen color change done in this manner, I have to say this is a great way of doing color change specially in a project like this one, Thanks for this tutorial and making your instruction easy to follow.
Your voice is super calming! I also love every video of yours that I watch.
What a wonderful teacher you are Toni. This project is beautiful and you make it so easy to follow along. Love you easy, relaxed style. Thanks for all your expert teaching. Keep up the great work.
You make it so easy to see what you're doing and top it off with clear, concise directions. Thank you very much. đ It's people like you who taught me how to spin, knit, and weave. Rock on!
I have a new grandson and this will be perfection in blue & white. I love everything about this blanket...the gingham pattern, the tri-color border and the fun Pom-Poms!!! â€ïž. Iâm so glad I learned Tunisian crochet a few years ago.
I keep the yarn from tangling by placing each ball in a small ziplock style bag and then lining them up in a box. When you do the forward pass they will untangle and when you do the reverse pass they cross over. Also, by putting them in the ziplock baggies I am easily able to move my project around without the balls unwinding all over the place. I purchased the baggies at a local Dollar Tree. I learned that trick while working on much larger lap afghan projects.
That is a great tip. Thank you
I never thought I would take the time to learn Tunisian crochet, but after finding your video, I can't wait to make my first project. You are a wonderful teacher! I am so looking forward to watching your videos. Thank you so much. You are very talented.
You are such a wonderful teacher! I have such a difficult time ending the row and looking for the last stitch to get both parts. You just made it very easy! Thank YOU!!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!!l.......For being to the point and not rambling on. Really easy to follow your instructions. Keep doing what your doing because many talk about too many other issues while your trying to get the pattern and stitches down and you get lost and have to keep going back to what you forgot. LOVED THIS ONE.
You make this look so easy. I love your calm melodic voice. Thank you for showing how this is done.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU. I have watched alot of videos on this type of Afghan, but none went into as much detail. I love to crochet cut have always had trouble with changing colors. You made it look so easy. Thankyou for going into detail about blocking to. I just can't thank you enough.
I'm new to Tunisian crochet and watched your beginner video--I'm totally hooked now! love that you stopped the video to get a fresh cup of coffeeđ
This is the old Afghan stitch that was out years ago and I made a poinsettia christ.as blanket out of it and oh man it took me forever cause there were granny square squares in the adjacent columns. Then cross stitching on the afghan stitching. It is a very nice stitch to use and work with. If you want the pattern to it just throw me a pm and I'll find it and send it to you. It's about 15 to 20 yrs old
Toni, you are an incredible teacher. Your voice is so easy to listen to, and your instructions are very clear! Since Covid started, I was looking for a new craft, and came across Tunisian crochet. I then found your beginning instructions, and this past year, I have made many dishcloths with some of the various basic stitches that you shared with us. Thank you so much for the work you do on this channel.
I'm working on this afghan for my first great grand baby. I'll send you a photo when I finish. Thanks again for your great instructions.
I started out despising tunisian crochet, I only had a 7mm afghan hook with a super rounded head and I felt like I was constantly fighting against curl and couldnât figure out how to insert properly into the last stitch. For anyone who feels like me, KEEP GOING! Experiment with different hooks and yarns! Try bigger projects!
Now that iâve been working with tunisian crochet for a while and I have a few decent corded hooks, itâs just so much fun and so adore the flowy light fabric you can make with certain stitches. Family members have loved the face washers and coasters I work up for them in free time.
Perseverance is key sometimes đ
You make this look so easy! I have been wanting to try Tunisian for a quite awhile now. Your a great teacher! Thank you for sharing your talents!
I know this is from two years ago, but I watched the entire video because I LOVE your incredibly perfect tutorials! Your voice reveals patience and kindness, and your skills are wonderful. I ended up realizing that I will probably not make this blanket because my own patience is thin for yarn ends right now, but I know that I could watch any of your videos simply for the great peacefulness you brought me today. I needed this. Thank you!
Just when I thought Tunisian crochet couldn't be more versatile...boom! here you are with this amazing job. I'm so glad that I've found you! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the best explanation of color change in Tunisian crochet!! Lovely voice tooâ€ïž
Absolutely WONDERFUL tutorial!! Thank you!! I can't wait to get started on this blanket.
I agree with Liz! I love your teaching style. Taking out all the guess work that seems to happen when reading a pattern. All the tips and extra math calculations are appreciated. Thank you!
I will be attempting a baby boy colored blanket. Heading out tomorrow to find the right colors.
I have always wanted to learn Tunisian crochet. Finding I your video on this plaid blanket was awesome. I just need to find the crochet hook at my local craft stores. I will definitely share a picture. I also subscribed.
Thank you for explaining this in detail.I love the calmness for your voice.Your work is beautiful.
I love listening to you. Great instructions!
You are a awesome teacher and a very kind woman! Thank you so much for taking time to show us all how to do this :)
This is B E A utiful!! I learned how to crochet as a child, from my Grandmom, so off and in for 40+ years, but I am not nearly as accomplished as you are. Watching you give me a lot of enthusiasm for trying new things! Thank You
You make gorgeous work! And youâre an amazing instructor! Iâm not very far along in my crochet journey, but after watching your tutorial, Iâm confident that I can make this! Thank you!
Wonderful tutorial! I've watched a few other Tunisian crochet videos and have found them to be very intimidating. Your soothing voice, uplifting personality, and detailed descriptions of how to perform the stitches makes this seem so much more approachable! Beautiful work!
I've done Tunisian crochet but never color changes. Love it.
iâm a total newbie to crochet, still trying to get a hang of the tension, but oh my gosh this is complete goals, i would love to make something like this someday!
Yes more amazing videos đđđđ once again thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Ooohh..so making this for my mom's bday. And this will be my firts Tunisian project
I love this!! I appreciate all the time that goes into designing and making the videos.
Love this tutorial! You've made it very easy to understand how to manage the project and the working/non-working yarns. I'm definitely going to be making one of these gingham blankets. You've given me the confidence to do it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. We're very lucky to have you out here to help us all. â€
I am definitely gonna make this but a little bigger so it will be a dog sized blanket. (For my dog) thanks so much for introducing this version on crochet to me. Love you videos too they are so easy to follow. Many thanks,
Watching this again, and I feel the need to tell you what an amazing instructor you are. Your voice is soothing, so I'll probably go through and watch all your tutorials again. đ
What a wonderful teacher. Super clear and great pace.
I have never done Tunisian crochet before. I've done crochet for several years, and I'm working on my knitting skills. I ran across this video and the way you explain things step by step, I decided this would be my first Tunisian crochet project. Your friendly voice and fantastic instruction were with me every step of the way. I'm loving how my blanket turned out! I cant thank you enough for teaching me a new skill.
I've just discovered Tunisian crochet (in a very weird attempt to get my left hand to figure out how to hold the yarn for regular crochet) and am, well, *cough cough* hooked! I found your channel when searching for some vids on instruction, and I am instantly a fan. Your voice is so soothing and perfectly pitched for instructing without sounding 'teacherish'. I adore this gingham blanket and am going through my stash of yarn to find enough of something to play with this before buying yarn for a more formal project. I look forward to viewing all your other videos for learning new stitches and patterns. Thank you for your generous gift of your talent!
I am left handed too and it does seem like it'd be better than regular crocheting. But i just crochet right handed.
I am a lefty also and have been crocheting for 40+ years and have also been doing Tunisian crochet for many years as well. Love the stitch! Have made several afghans but this one in the video, but am now wanting to try it. I learned to do these from sitting in front of a right handed person, but myself doing it left handed. Glad I learned as I love to crochet. Happy crocheting!
I made the Jessie stash basket shortly before starting this and it has made the project so much easier ! I put all of my cakes in the basket and pull my working ends through the handles and it has really helped to minimize tangling đ
Best bind off I`ve come across thank ou very much
You are the best teacher !! I love Tunisian but looked so hard the other way they do it. This way is stunning.! Thank you so very much for taking the time to do this video. Your a God send đđ

I've only been crocheting for about a year. I LOVE everything Tunisian. I just got my Tunisian hooks yesterday, so I've been doing a lot of searching for videos. I've always loved the gingham stitch, but it's very intimidating, and I've never even attempted it. Within my searching, the majority of the Tunisian videos are from you. You are an amazing teacher. You're very easy to understand, you show your work at just the right pace, and you're the sweetest person ever! I'm definitely going to try this within the next couple of days. I can't wait! Thank you for your time and for showing so many of us how to crochet. đ„°đ„°

Thank you for helping me fall in love with Tunisian crochet! I've been knitting & crocheting for almost 50 years (I started young), but I never really learned Tunisian until watching your videos. I use my great-grandmother's hooks that I've had forever.
