Jeff Waters was invited to play on Rust In Peace, just like Dimebag was before Marty auditioned.
Annihilator is on criticaly higher level then megadeth. For Waters there is nothing to do with mustaine.

Jeff is one of my favourit musicians.
A beast on rhythm.....solos that hook...riffs that kill....and songs with a stunning drive. He's really amazing.

Backlashed I asked him to crank out some Annihilator and in no time he delivered. Jeff Waters is insane and unique, a huge influence on my playing.

Haven't listened to Annihilator in over 25 years. They were a very underrated band. Didn't know they had any material post-90s. I'll have to revisit their music. Awesome riffing by the way.

One of the most criminally overlooked bands and a guitarist who should be up there with Hetfield Mustaine Skolnick Hanneman Holt Friedman as a more widespread recognised riff machine he is and he also plays all the bass parts on every album he's recorded along with rhythm and lead.
