This cinema was made on 1916 and today it's 2020 total 104 years 🥺😟 omg , we are lucky to watch 104 years old cinema . Who agrees Charlie Chaplin sir is true legends.
Wow!!!!
Allahu ekber
@Prince Bhujel agreed
Kishor Bhujel Officia there was 📷
Agreed there was a camera , but I mean to say , we are currently living in 2020 , and the movie is made in 1916 , far away on past , so we feel lucky to watch those past days movie .
He wasn't just a comedian, probably one of the greatest actors the world has ever seen..... an absolute genius...
🎩🎩🎩🎩
And he an atheist too😁
@@karma.8855 thats kinda random
i think another one of the greatest comic actors (besides mr. Chaplin) was Gene wilder

The fact that people still laugh at this humor amazes me. We can all still come together to watch the best Comedian of his time to entertain us 104 years in the future. Charlie Chaplin was beyond his time. Thanks for building the future comedians Charlie Chaplin. May your Astral being rest for eternity.
Was he the best though? This short film feels pretty amateurish to me.. I remember Chaplins films being better than this. Maybe im remembering wrong and Chaplin was just as bad in his other films as here. After all its been ages since i last saw a Chaplie film. Or he improved a lot as his career progressed.
@@puppeli I think all of the movies from this era seem amateurish because the field itself was so new. There weren't any seasoned veterans or great works from the past to reference. That's part of what I find interesting about this era. They were still figuring everything out.
That being said, I do personally prefer Buster Keaton over Charlie Chaplin from this time period. For me, the comedy holds up better and is more unique. But I've never been a fan of slapstick. It certainly seems be a matter of personal preference though. Clearly many people found it funny at the time and still do.
Um verdadeiro mestre em fazer rir. Parabéns!
Wasn’t even funny

Guy eating the onions lol
THERE WILL NEVER EVER BE ANOTHER ONE EXACTLY LIKE CHARLIE CHAPLIN!🎩👞👞👨
love Charlie ----------- he was an iconnnnnnn 💙💚💜💛🧡❤
104 years hah? Such a long time.. Everyone's long gone! But left Their footprint for another 100 years for people to see and wonder. They existed once here on earth and now in people’s heart.
104 years and it's still funny 😂❤️
Pedophiles run the Hollywood today, 50% serve them or are incompetent, unlike this movie where you can not find a single person that not fits in this move, there is no attempting of making bad jokes no sound but still more funny than any move we have right now.

It is funny because it is 104 years old! Todays comedy is shite!

he really said that.
They even used the limitations of their technology as a strength. Shot in 18 frames per second, then projected at 24 frames per second to enhance the comedy of their motions. What absolute masters of their craft.
They never did that. 24fps came in with sound. And for the next 60-70 years silent films were shown at the wrong speed, and usually in BW (cheap copies of copies) rather than in their original color tints and tones. Only around 10-15% of silent movies were originally screened in BW. And never at 24fps.
I didn't understand what are you saying but that sounds amazing
Can you imagine it, this was filmed 105 years ago! Amazing
IN 2023 WE'RE STILL WATCHING CHARLIE CHAPLIN SILENT 😶 MOVIES 🎥 IN COLOR AND BLACK 🖤 AND WHITE ON CZcams!😊😮😮😂❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
its been more than 100 years... a legend never dies.
Charlie Chaplin's movies I've watched since I was 5 years old and now I'm 54 years old and I'm still laughing, God bless you, Charlie.
👏👌
You were in his years. What do you remember from those years?
@@Qladiatorrr Another case of abysmal reading comprehension issues. Super channel SYR was born in 1966 while Chaplin lived 1889-1977 and made most of his movies in the early-to mid century.

The old people in this video were literally alive during the Civil War. Insane.
Whats more insane is the fact their Grandparents were alive during the American Revolution :D

He's a really cool comic and I really like his movements and his performance
You know the guy was good when you can still laugh at something he did a century ago.
Yes It's true👏🏻
I see facial expressions that I remember my grandparents making. It never occured to me before that body language changes over time too. Very cool.

Even After a century it looks cool 👍😎
How perfect is Chaplin's timing? They say the true art to comedy lays in the timing.
Exactly U r Right
Timing is higly important for these movies
I think they had gone through rehearsals many times to get the perfect timing

Charlie Chaplin and Rowan Atkinson undoubtedly the King and the Prince of Silent Acting and still indisputable today
I like RA - but he's not even close to being in the same league as Chaplin or Keaton. More a minor league Lloyd....

The best comedian ever.
Absolutely.
There is a sort of comic documentary film by and with Rowan Atkinson about "who is the greatest comedian ever"; John Cleese and Rowan Atkinson 'sharing' 2nd/3rd place with - needless to mention even - Charles Chaplin at a height that would make Mount Everest seem a hill.
At only 27 years old.., he has smashed sales records and won not only a swathe of prizes but a royal distinction.
Thank you Mr Chap Lyn

1916 meaning everyone in this was born in the 1800s but Charlie died in 1977. My grandma was born in 1942, my mom was born in 67..
I was born In 1994.
Charlie's Chaplin parents knew people born in the 1700s

In films there are various social messages and also what the artistic world is like with its arrogance in competition. Charlie Chaplin knew very well what he was doing it wasn't just humor.
He had not only amazing comedic and acting skills but great intelligence and social conscience.
The best comady show ever
JUST AMAZING. I don't know why but, whenever I watch any Charles Chaplin film or some specific other films: I get that strange feeling of loneliness and emptiness, like yearning to an era I haven't even lived in.
Not only you but everybody wants to.

Silent films Aimed at a large segment of the community International performance Charlie Chaplin a legend who rarely finds someone like him Imagine with me films that are about 105 years old 😵 How fortunate we are that they never imagined that cinema itself would be watched by millions after a hundred years despite the poor means in that However, they were able to draw joy and happiness in the faces of millions to this day. Thank you Charlie 🙏 A friend from Algeria
105 years huh. That aged well.
Charlie chaplin himself is a university of comedy
When the matter comes to genuine laughter, Charlie Chaplin is the best choice! God bless His Soul. Bravo for the great talent!

Oh what a genious! To date with super technological advancement no personality of performing are can come within 100 miles of Chaplin. Just nothing more could be explained about Chaplin, a marvelous film personality.
Old is gold.
Now this the real and pure comedy not like today's one which contains lot of nudity and double meaning forceful comedy.
