Former Sonoma State Men's Basketball Star Jaylen Wells Selected 39th Overall in 2024 NBA Draft

Jaylen Wells spent two years at Sonoma State before transferring to Pac-12 member Washington State and went down as one of the most talented players in program history for the Seawolves. He became just the program's second All-American and then went on to lead the Cougars in three point percentage and average over 12 points a game to put himself on the map.
On June 27th, Wells heard his name called as the 39th pick in the NBA draft and became the first ever draft pick to where a Sonoma State uniform in program history. Check out the full release at sonomaseawolves.com
