    I'm surprised nobody commented on how cinematic Energized's fate was. They thrived and prospered, until one day they all died and the island transformed into a scorched hellscape. Even after hundreds of years, the island never recovered, and all of the major empires avoided it for the rest of the game like it was haunted by their tortured souls, still crying out in pain long after their civilization fell.

    The Immortal Island seemed to take quite the existential, nihilist route on this one. Did nothing and hid away for over 600 years.
    I guess knowing that they could live forever, they believed that fighting wars, making friends, and exploring the globe had no real lasting purpose.

    The 2 Immortals could have had a easy win if they did anything.
    But they decided to be completely docile and gave the win to Tough.
    Such Gigachads.

    Have Greece and all of the ancient city states fight each other and see who wins. (Give Sparta a better army and have other city states get buffs.) And once one wins see if they can survive the Persian Empire!

      @@hiddendesire3076 I mean, this guy I think did play for a long time yet still thought that traits would combine instead of having some people with one trait and others with the other when kingdoms merged, seemingly not realizing that they wouldn't breed with each other despite mentioning placing a single person per island at the start, which does actually work in this game, they multiply from a single person.

    • @Gooorg
      @Gooorg  Před 2 lety +2

      @ManoloGamerSS You might be forgetting about the mod I mentioned at the beginning, it makes all traits always inherit, as well as requiring two people to breed.
      @Hidden Desire might be right about the same gender thing too, that may be a feature of the mod that I was unaware of since by default genders don't matter in this game for reproduction.

    • @manologamerss5801
      @manologamerss5801 Před 2 lety +4

      @@Gooorg Oh, you didn't mentiont that! In that case, yes, traits merge, and that's the reason half the nations never got a higher population than two, given that there's a 50/50 chance the second person spawned will be the same gender as the first.

    It kinda makes sense that tough won at the end only because one of the traits that had was paranoia or paranoid, so i feel like that would make then paranoid of any other person not from there island which might have been what pushed them to take over so much

  • @ThatOneMurro
    @ThatOneMurro Před rokem

    I was really hoping for ambitious to win, but I think this ending is funnier, I imagine them just thinking “Well we have enough population to colonize another island, gosh we can spread so far.. But not right now, maybe later.” Just sitting around thinking of all these incredible ideas for expansion, but to get overtaken before they can make a move.
