I agree. I liked Life Cycles but it wasnt the same feeling with Deceiver. I heard Deceiver more than 10 times and Life cycles about 2 ( i own both albums.) I was happy to hear that they are going to make an EP this year and they want to return to their roots (Empire).
Justin salinas left (the drummer) they hired the drummer from City in the Sea to track life cycles. Hes a great drummer too but just didn't fit the writing style. I dont think luke really fit either though after that except play the victim was great

I agree 100% I wish they would play more Deceiver stuff on tours but they play almost all Life Cycles, its upsetting
