So many gorgeous flowers coming!
Can't wait!
I did, but will rewatch it to see what I missed!
❤️
I appreciate you so much! You’ve really inspired me!💗🌿
I'm so glad!
I love the willow branch wreath form in your raised bed. We have a bunch of grape vines we pulled down in our back woods. It made me think of using them to corral tall dahlias.
Yes you should try it!
I can't wait for my seeds to grow and become seedlings. MY scabiosas have shown little leaves too.
Wonderful!
Your willow nest is a beautiful feature! Can't wait to see it with your blooming strawflowers! ♥ My dahlia seedlings are up! Still in flats, but growing! You cracked me up saying you start indoors because you're a control freak... lol... Same here, girl! Same here. LOL
😂😂😂 control freaks unite!
I’m so excited for you with all the plants that you grew from seed. They are going to be gorgeous. Can’t wait to see you make some bouquets with all of them. The willow baskets is beautiful and it is even better because you made from your own willow tree. Looking forward to all the beautiful blooms.
I’m hoping to make more willow baskets in the future!
Love the woven Basket. Once again great information on a variety of plants. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Oooh yay! I can't wait to put my seedling babies into their new home. 😍 I have about another month!
Good luck!!

I have that song in my head now too. Not a bad one to play in my head over and over.
I sing it every time!
@shesamadgardener 😂😂 that's hilarious . Hey I have a question do you ever watch Daniel from north lawn flower farm she's a zone 6b but she grew dahlia seeds the year before last and in the past year she has cultivated one that took really good I believe it's graces seed or something to that nature but it was so neat hopefully your dahlia seed makes gorgeous flowers you can do the same with ❤
I am growing strawflower for the first time this year. Your seedlings are a little bigger than mine, but not much and I have started putting mine out. I want to have flowers that I can save throughout the year to put on a 2024 Christmas tree.
That’s an awesome idea for the Christmas tree!
Trying strawflower and scabiosa first time by seeds 😊
Sounds great!
Im have scabiosa in my garden. I will not see them for awhile, it snowed this morning 😁
Yay for snow!
Your gomphrena looks so much better than mine :D
I feel like this is the best my Gomphrena seedlings have looked … usually they are kind of miserable looking until I get them into the actual garden.
A lot of plants fit in that raise bed...so amazing ❤❤❤
I stuffed them in there hoping they will support each other!
Can’t wait to see all the flowers blooming soon. And to see how you arrange them. So pretty!
Me too!!
Good morning. Look at what you have planted in that raise garden bed. Looking forward to seeing how it will look when all the flowers are in bloom. It makes one feel great when you know that your grew the seedlings yourself. One seems to appreciate the flowers more. Enjoy the rest of your day and hopefully it was not too bad of a storm.
Good morning! The storm ended up being super minimal but we did get some rain.
Same here love dahlias but they don’t do well in extreme heat which I have as well so decided not to grow although I’m still tempted 😂
That’s why I grew from seed this year … if they fail, I’m only out a few bucks.
such a beautiful collection of flowers to co e cant wait!
Me too!!
How exciting, looking forward to see it grow!!🎉
Fingers crossed!
Great job, cant wait to see all the color in those beds ! Happy Gardening, Ann from Ohio 🙂
Thanks so much!

I'm in N Florida zone 8b or new 9 now, I have dahlias I started from seed, I never dig them up and they come back better every year. You might just try leaving them and see what happens.
I’ve tried and they freeze with our temps. The only variety that comes back consistently for me is color spectacle.
Trying lots if new flowers this year. 😊
Good luck!
Fun to see your seedlings go in the beds! I have about 1-2 weeks before i plant mine. Have been growing the raspberry cream gomphrena the last few years and they do great. Growing strawflowers for the first time🙂
Wonderful!
😊

I’m living vicariously through your flowers 😂. I’m too scared to grow anything more complicated than zinnias 🤣🤣🤣
You can do sunflowers! Those are just as easy as zinnias and would be great for your vegetable garden!
@@shesamadgardener I grow those, too - just nothing super finicky. I’m learning from you, though, so maybe next year I’ll stop being a chicken!
😁😁🌼

I wonder if my Dalia’s would overwinter for me. I’m in Houston so my soil should stay warmer.
I bet they would!
I’ve had sad germination with my strawflowers. I’m not sure why.
Hmm, did you watch my video on starting strawflowers?
Do you ever add more soil to your beds when it gets low?
Yes! I usually add compost and soil at the end of the growing season and allow it to settle over the winter.
I have deers and they unfortunately eat the buds and flowers of my dianthus plants
