We have to put this in context. This isn't a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, this is a marriage with kids. Emotions just don't turn off like that even during a separation. This is I understood you already had kids, accepted them through all of the drama, and then still pushed out two more kids. Per some of the gossip blogs, the final straw for Cardi was that Offset hooked up with Jade, the woman she went to trial for. Plus that nonsense on Kai Cenat's stream and the sidechick in one of their houses. The public did not know they've been separated. All of those things are embarrassing. Compound that with the rumors that all of the properties are in Cardi's name and most of the money she earned. So she has somebody who depends on her financially cheating on her. If this was reversed and the woman did that, we would be on her neck. I don't even f with Cardi like that and think she shouldn't run to the internet for everything but I do understand her being upset.
Now on the flip side I question whether this is a rollout.

But let's keep it real, for women some things haven't changed from our great grandmother's, grandmother's and mother's times relationship wise. For some women, whether rich or poor, once they get married and have kids, they are slower to leave. Let's not act like some of us haven't seen this in our families or friend's families. That woman is going to think of those kids and try her best to navigate through the b.s. Is it necessarily the right thing to do? No, but it happens. And Cardi B, despite all her ratchedness is more traditional than she lets on. Her dad is Dominican and her mom is Trinidadian of African and Spanish descent. I read a blog that said even her dad was telling her she shouldn't leave Offset despite all of the cheating.

I said that despite what we think should happen, some things have not changed like we wish it would. There are perfect scenarios of what we think should happen and then there is real life. Those two don't always meet or coexist peacefully. What would be nice doesn't always happen. We can't act like woman don't have different societal, traditional, familial pressures than men. Like I stated even in Cardi B's family her own father was pressuring her to overlook the cheating and keep the family together. And this is not the first time that I've heard that concept. My husband's friend was having some issues with his wife, with the fault primarily on his side (wasn't necessarily cheating). Even my husband was saying she should leave. He couldn't understand it when I plainly said that isn't going to happen. That lady had 4 kids at the time. I told my husband look, what you are saying is nice and understandable, but it isn't the real world. It is a tight knit African community. People are going to look at her differently and regardless of what you say none of us are going to be around when she closes her door at night and has to shoulder most of the day to day responsibilities of raising those kids. Like look at Joe Budden, he might get his kid, but the core responsibility is on the mother. And as for what is best for the kids, most kids don't know or have the sense to understand cheating in a normal household. They just want their parents together in the same house. Most kids don't fully understand until they get older.
