Thank you so much for these instructions! I found a tiny rock in the seal! Once it was cleared, my toilet was silent once again. No more hissing. Whoo hoo! I feel so empowered!

So simple, thanks so much. I was about to purchase a new filler valve. About 25 bucks! We had plumbing work done and dirt got pushed to the seal that you cleaned. Thanks again.

Problem fixed thanks to cleaning the valve top and bottom! One additional step I had to do was slightly rotate the black valve as it seemed to have imprints from the other side's pattern. Thank you!

HA! Yep, it was the first thing I noticed when watching. In the moment, I could not find my other scrubber. I almost scrubbed my hands raw after that. Thanks for watching.
I sure do. I had to fix it fast, and thought I should also make a video, so I was not fully prepared. I spent more time scrubbing than the whole video.
you have to use the same brush for the toilet for that? can't use old tooth brush or other brush that is not meant to use for the toilet bowl.
Yep, gross. Didn’t want to stop filming and get my cleaning kit. It was a fast shoot on a day with lots of errands, and a friend just asked about the same thing. I hoped it helped in spite of that.
I’m having this problem and the weird part is my toilets are literally brand new. I just got them from the store today and had them installed. Only in America!
