I love how Harry's material is never routed in dark cynicism or being dirty, He's just a perfectly silly man whose only goal in life is to remind us that it feels really good to laugh at silly things.
Saw him last night in Nottingham and he is still so original. My face was hurting and was crying all the way through 😂😂
Some of his jokes are quite dark, to be fair. The one about getting a very sick or old dog who'll die before you lose interest, or asking Brian if the Yorkies are a substitute for children, as two examples.
It's just that Harry is so light and silly with his routine in general that he can fold this kind of thing in without it defining his style.

Always loved Harry Hill on all tv shows but hadn’t realised just how brilliant he is at stand up. He’s in a league of his own 👍😎
Ridiculously hilarious, I can't believe I only recently discovered Harry Hill afresh thanks to youtube. He's like a cross between Vic Reeves, Bill Bailey, The Mighty Boosh, Tim Vine... the best bits of that lot and no downside. Outstanding!

I saw him at a small venue early in his stand up career. I have never laughed so much before or since. The man is a genius.

I only heard Harry use the F word once and it was like a pistol shot. When comedians swear all the time it loses its shock quality.
