Preston Forsyth Recites "Dark as a Dungeon" the caver version by Jan Canns

Preston Forsyth caver extraordinaire shares his love of cave poetry in the entrance to Sharon Grove Cave, northeast Todd County, KY thirty minutes south of Browder, KY. Jan Conn wrote the song/poem with Preston reading. Jan Conn wrote "Dark as a Dungeon" the caver version around1960-1961. The song was published in the NSS 1961 SPELEO DIGEST by the Pittsburg Grotto. Merle Travis wrote the original "Dark as a Dungeon" in 1946 that was the template for Jan's caver version. #caver
