Our Union Jack - Ulster Loyalist Song

- The Troubles were an ethno-nationalist conflict in Northern Ireland that lasted about 30 years from the late 1960s to 1998. Also known internationally as the Northern Ireland conflict, it is sometimes described as an "irregular war" or "low-level war". The conflict began in the late 1960s and is usually deemed to have ended with the Good Friday Agreement of 1998. Although the Troubles mostly took place in Northern Ireland, at times violence spilled over into parts of the Republic of Ireland, England, and mainland Europe.

"Their only crime was loyalty", because of radical educational changes that happened in england during the 70s-90s. The new "progressive"/atheistic/socialist ideas were pushed in schools. The churches had the funding destroyed. Increase immigration due to Blair lead to the new idea of equality and diversity, completely diluted the idea or british patriotism and protestant presence overall. The saddest part is all the sacrifice and loyalty of the people from NI has been forgotten here or never taught here. Truly tragic

I know the lyrics are on the video, but if you ever need them here:
Have Britons lost the courage of the glorious days of yore?
Have they lost the valiant spirit which their doughty fathers bore?
They always travelled forward, shall we go tamely back?
Shall we look on while the traitors they destroy our Union Jack?
Shall We listen to the treason of sedition at your names?
And condemn our loyal kindred to the failure of wretched slaves
Our fathers travelled forward, shall we go tamely back?
Shall we look on while the traitors they destroy our Union Jack?
Shall we be crushed like vermin beneath the Gladstone wheel?
That he may live in history as the hero of the Gael?
Shall we no more go forward but tamely travel back
Shall we look on while the traitors they destroy our Union Jack?
We never shall surrender, the glories of our past
But shoulder still to shoulder, protect them to the last
We must and shall go forward, we'll never travel back
And forever, aye forever we shall hoist our Union Jack
[Instrumental]
We never shall surrender, the glories of our past
But shoulder still to shoulder, protect them to the last

Nothing better than Loyalist Ulster songs. They get who they are and what the English civilization is all about. FGAU.
@John Best
Only English civilization ?
What about Scottish Welsh , Irish Civilization ?
@@Dannydantimpat There is no Scottish/Welsh/Irish civilization. They are nations. England is a civilization because it exports itself all over the world, to North America/South Pacific/Africa. There are over 100 million English descended people around the world who make up the English hegemony which controls the world and has done since the 7 years war. With that said, Britain is the English hegemony extended over the British Isles. So there is no Irish/Welsh/Scottish civilization, and if you take Britain down to its true place its just the English hegemony. One fascinating thing is that there is a Catholic civilization, which the English civilization replaced as the hegemony over the world. Which included France/Italy/Spain/Portugal, so those nations though powerful aren't civilizations either. But make up the Catholic civilization. There are three powerful civilizations in the world today, the Han Chinese civilization, the Russian civilization and the English civilization. You also have the pre-mentioned Catholic civilization, the Islamic civilization, the Hindu civilization, the Persian and Turkic civilizations and the Japanese. Those are less coherent or less powerful. All the great empires of the world apart from maybe the Mongolian Empire formed into a civilization. From Rome, Egypt, Persia, China, India, Russia. So its to be expected that the English Empire would form into a civilization, which again is fascinating to me because its a naval based civilization and it is the most powerful and advanced civilization we know of. Yet nobody perceives it as a civilization and the English themselves don't view themselves as part of a wider civilization. As much as the politicians try to push the Anglo-Sphere and CANZUK, all of each make no sense and can't work. In the end the former colonial states will break apart and the English people within those state will seek for form their civilization. Just as all the other great civilizations before did.
@@Dannydantimpat
The Scots language is English. Originating directly from old Northumbrian. This is why Ulster Scots sounds so similar to Ulster English.
