I bought mine last year so my home would be cool during the summer, but it did not cool so welll. I brought it out recently, cleaned filter, coils etc. No water inside and my home is sweltering. It is 82 degrees in here. Also the exhaust hose tore during set up, it seemed fragile to me, so I had to buy new exhaust hose.
Hi thank you for sharing! We are still using it in our apartment living room. it keeps our living room cool during summer time and I agree with you when temperature reaches 82 degrees it wont cool that much.
@@FritzChellKidsChannel it is 81 degrees in here right now. I Only use it in my living room and which is a very small room. And it still doesn't keep up. I also have a tower fan with a temperature read out running. And it shows eighty one degrees in here. I feel every bit of it. My dogs don't even get off the floor move around
@delindaharmon6098 did you try removing the upper drain plug near the filter and let the moisture drain?
@@FritzChellKidsChannel Yes I have opened both plugs and drained them both. Yesterday I took it completely apart. I cleaned the coils I cleaned all of the dust. It looks like brand new in there and its deal doesn't put out. It was a big expense for nothing about. I guess i'm going to order another brand and a window unit this time. I'm very disappointed about the whole thing.
With bucketless design, did you have to empty it, once or 2 whole summer, a lot or not once?
hello..you have to connect the drain hose and have a bucket with it. a lot of water coming out from the drain especially when its too hot in the summer. thanks for asking
I have had it hooked up for a month now using only fan, or ac function. I have not had to empty it once. I live in Canada so it's probaly not as humid. That said we had 27 Celsius days and not emptied once.
I read the manuals. The 12000 rca I had the 2 years before said nothing about a bucketless design. It was obviously a earlier design.

We also live in Canada and it’s pretty hot these past few days..Before we were not using the drainage hose but my husband removed the rubber plug and used the hose that comes with it…IDK maybe the water inside just evaporates if you don’t open the drain plug..,
