I love the first part of the song because it perfectly sounds like the act of an important decision.
Agreed, hearing this theme while listening to the Childstar telling me that all the choices will result in Shepard's death was so goddamn heartbreaking.
If u chose the ending where the cycle continues, then that makes the stakes in Mass Effect Andromeda higher because u truly are fighting to keep all of those species alive and to preserve their legacy

A.K.A. The Intelligence.. I really liked how much Leviathan added to the lore, made everything feel like it made at least a little more sense, and made the scale seem so much bigger.. Like the Leviathans said, The Intelligence turned the galaxy into an experiment to find a solution.

Clint Mansell's music, as always: Sublime.
The Catalyst IS the Citadel, and probably connected to all Reapers. It's obvious he has been watching Shepard from behind the scenes. His taking the child's form isn't proof of Shepard being indoctrinated, but rather of the Catalyst's virtual omnipresence. I liked his voice, quite outworldly.
I wish there was a mass effect 4, more something threatened than the reapers, I literally cried because it was the last mission from all the trilogy

Relax :) I still love Star Wars. Star Wars, Doctor Who, Mass Effect and Star Trek are my favourite Sci-Fis! Nothing can beat their uniqueness
I might be the only person out there who liked the ME3 ending. every game in the trilogy is a master piece imo

I agree with you on that. The Suicide Mission was one of the best finale in all of sci-fi history, or those that I know of anyway. Sad that Bioware let EA finish off the trilogy... If Bioware still had more time and more money, a legendary trilogy that no one could conquer would of existed... a trilogy greater than the Star Wars original and prequel trilogies, possibly...
So they made 4 patches, 4 single player DLCs, fixed walls in Cerberus Base, added a whole new extended cut, changed Mass Relay explosion scenes, added a new refuse option;
but didn't change the much hated Catalyst,
but didn't remove the dream sequences,
didn't remove the wound on Shep's left side,
didn't remove the breath scene after credits..
..and it means that they "abandoned the idea without discarding the content"?
Maybe ME3's ending was to be saturated with symbolism and subtle writing?
This IS the greatest trilogy ever.No other game series provoked such strong feelings,nor did they deliver the epic experience Mass Effect offered me.The journey was awesome,even if the ending was a bit flawed.[and fixed after].Fuck EA and their stupidity,just say thanks to BioWare for the awesome experience that was Mass Effect.And hope Mass Effect 4 is on par.

I don't blame the writer i am sure with enough time they would have made a much better ending its all down to EA
I thought the catalyst scene was cool as hell until The Catalyst said too much :(
the fleet arrival and this part built the game up too much from me ... the ending was a major let down ..
The ending was just a terrible blab trying to sound fantastical.
Clint didn't do very much for this game, and i'm happy for that, because as good as Leaving Earth and An End Once And For All is, it's not really mass-effect-ish'
