- Jane was lovely and sent me some art supplies to try out! I was super excited to get the watercolours, brush pens and acrylic paint so here I have a look at them and try them out.

What a lovely gift! I really enjoy seeing products reviewed by my favoured artists. I hadn't thought to use acrylic with a watercolour painting other than in a mixed media piece. The background really made your girl stand out. As always I watched with awe as your girl came to life. I have the Brights palette and have yet to get skin tones I aim for! :D You always inspire me. I am aware I need to invest in good paper but that won't stop me practising ;)

I like that you made it a point to use all the mediums, and how you explained your process as you went along, and if it helps I don't think what you did with the mermaid markers made her head look funny at all;)
