Toyota dropping the V6 on the Highlander removed it from consideration. SUV's need a V6 min and forget turbos, they don't last.

We just bought a program Hyundai Santa Fe 2023. It has 5K miles and all the bells and whistles. 12K off MSRP. Saved money and paid cash. I will baby it and hope for a long life. I like Honda and Toyota and most Nissan vehicles but prices are insane.

I bought a new 2023 RAV4. The roof is 2 inches too low. the center console is 2 inches too wide on each side. At highway speed it has the LOUDEST road, wind and engine noise of any car I've ever owned. The seats are the most cramped and uncomfortable of any car I've ever owned. Mechanically it's great but the engineers forgot all about DRIVING COMFORT. It's a rough truck.
You sound like you probably complain about everything in yr life. How can the roof be 2 inch to high or low
I chose the RAV4 when I need a rental. I did not experience anything but comfort.

Then why did you buy it? You had to test drive it and find these things out. There are many other options than Toyota.
@@jamesjeffers7270 It was the car of my dreams and it took months before the honeymoon was over and no, name one other vehicle that has the RAV4's qualifications and don't say Honda, I don't know what to trade it in on yet but Toyota took the perfect vehicle and ruined it by making it so cramped and rough.
Subaru has a great all-wheel-drive system (standard, not optional) and is affordable, safe, and very dependable. Surprised that the Outback, Forester, or Crosstrek did not get on the list!

Tried Honda CR-V both gas and hybrid, liked neither. Tried Toyota RAV-4, gas only was available. Did not like either. Ended up buying Mitsubishi outlander PHEV. Drives like a dream.

Honda CRV- reliable? YES- "packs a punch"- NO not in the least- WAY underpowered.. I'd love the LEXUS but it's a bit big for me now-- I"m alone and don't need 3 rows of seats or even 2 for that matter. KIA?- NO- nothing korean period. I'd LOVE a 4Runner too- but too low gas mileage and a bit big for me too.. I don't like all the " driver ASSIST BS" - that needs to go and people drive thier OWN cars.. MaZda CX-90? NO- I loved the CX-50 Styling was great and when they made the CX-90 they F..d it up - it's all rounded off and looks FAT and slow.. It's NOT- but it looks it-- THAT kills the sale for me- and the mileage isn't good either. HYLANDER? I don't know much about these.. hope they are NOT CVT (Certified Verifiable TRASH).. and I don't want hybrid anything. Thats great at first- but when it starts going bad it will cost a fortune...RAV 4? no-- it's a CVT (very weak spot). and UNDERPOWERED.. no getup for getting on the freeways without getting run over.. IN SHORT-- NONE of them PERFECT-- just depends on which suits your needs... and wants..
