The Royal Guard is a fig I grabbed in the kickstarter. I’ll need to go back and see if your vid showed the new shadow Slate. I got two of the deep green ones. I’m thinking about getting a couple in the plum and grabbing another accessory pack. I didn’t know about their dwarves. I’ll have to look into that one. I haven’t been to a con or toy show in over two years. I’m going to a Joe toy show at the end of the month. It should be expensive. Valaverse is going to be there. There should be loads of 3D printers and vintage toys. I do want to reclaim some of the three main Dreadnoks in o-ring. I’ll see how they price out.
I don't know if I showed it but @junkioncraftsandbuilds picked up at least one. Maybe he needs to get off his butt and do a video?

Galvatron selling $20 at the corner store. 80's and 90's you can go into a corner store mom&pop convenience store and by real toys without ever stepping into a Trus, Bradless, Kmart, Caldors and Kaybee. I got lot of Transformers and Turtles from a convenience store next the drug store my dad got his medicine from.

When I used to work for this one dude at the comicons & wondercons across the US, he would do this thing where he would intentionally raise prices to get everyone to follow suit.
Example: the Fable statues were HOT back then. Say one went for 500, but he would want more. He would price it at 750, and start inquiring about the other vendors wanting to sell theirs. Instead of them selling to him, they would raise their prices to like 725 to under bid him because no one liked him. Then right before the show starts he'll put "slashed" prices at 600. They would fall for it every damn time! 🤣😂🤣

I have such a love-hate relationship with that line. I'll get them because with the nostalgia and then I'm unimpressed.... That and honestly I forgot about him once I walked away
@@TMan978 I felt the same way with that line at first, but the new eternia stuff is heaps better than the first few waves
Whoever that seller at 20:37 is, they're out of their damn mind asking those kinds of prices. I can see a few rarer items being marked up to give some wiggle room for haggling, but EVERYTHING was almost twice the price of what it should have been. When ebay prices look like a better deal, ya know you f'ed up.
I'll never understand it. Every toy show has one or two of these guys and I've never actually seen them make a sale. They always have the same stuff every year, and it's always ridiculously overpriced. At that point, why even bother packing everything up and hauling it to a show? No one will ever pay that much for enough of your stuff to make it worth the effort.
Right. I think they just like sitting there and having people walk around them. Transformers are so niche, no random wealthy person is going to be idiotic enough to think that they are actually worth it.
