Definitely tough to get these characters as a free to play player if you joined this late. Since someone who could be blind to choosing these characters can end up making it harder to unlock specific racers too. Glad I got em all since one time Steamboat Pete was the only one I hadn't unlocked in season 5 when he was needed. Pete, Figment, EVE, Kermit(eventually) are gonna be the toughest to unlock unless they are featured in a limited event, season tour race in one of the chapters in a gacha box, or as a reward in the season tour boxes.
The Common racers in your "Medium" section are much, much easier to get than the Epic racers like Buzz, Genie, Calhoun, etc. that aren't in the ranked epic capsules. Many commons have a 1.4% drop rate in the universal box, while most Epic racers are ~0.14%. So you are about 10 times as likely to draw Jumba than Calhoun. I don't think they deserve to be in the same tier.
Yeah i briefly mentioned the rarity difference and I think even said they really should be in different tiers. It was more to simply things, as having 4-5 tiers of difficulties would be a bit much, especially if three of them are all obtained via the same method
It took me months to get my favorite Disney character "Figment" and I only got him by breaking my vow of free 2 play only when they offered my last 2 figment shards for money.
I tried using so many coins in hope to unlock ariel through the universal box, but instead unlocked prince eric. I am really hoping something comes up in the shop for her.
I'm a little sad that I joined a little too late because Joy is not available in the season pass anymore 😢 I got sadness though but driving with her is not fun because she makes me feel sad too 😅
Did you guys realise that the numbers on the back of their suits have meaning. Most of them are about the year the character made their first appearance

There is literally no info online about the racer pickers 3 and 4 for some reason... There is one shady reddit post about 1 and 2. That's huge info right here.
Elsa is literally impossible to get 🤦🏼♂️ been almost 3 months that i play and i have never got any of her shards 😭 opened tons of Universal Boxes since 🤦🏼♂️😭 she’s definitely in the hard category for me 😭😭😭
I’m two shards away from Wall-E and I’m trying not to spend a lot of money (cause I did a decent amount during the Ralph season). So painful, hope the next time he returns is not a long time 😔🫡

You can get Disgust shards from the seasonal Inside Out event (the one which last for 1 month and has Disgust's picture on it)

Lilo, you can get very easily from the daily calendar. You get 10 Lilo shards for this week.

Just started playing three days ago. I unlocked Fear. Dunno how to get Anger or Disgust unless you just have to grind deeper into the season circuit?
Anger - season circuit
Disgust - limited event 2x tries daily
they need to add lightning, cruz, francesco, and jackson storm
