I even Doe I do love the fact u did this it's really cool I would love some audio lol
@@people_vs_people3390 I guess it's done on purpose, I love that it has no audio because it gives us a glimpse into their world
@@EliteXtasy lol nice meme
@@fatimaghailan6728 I agree ... usually it bothers me when there's no sound but I really loved it this time! I really felt like in their world
Jubilee seriously loved this jubilee!!! This was beautiful to watch, I love that your channel continues to press boundaries and has so many different perspectives. Just amazing
When two deaf people are talking, they look so involved in the conversation. Idk why, it just looks like they're legit interesting in knowing what the other person has to say.
in asl class you have to practice a lot of exaggerated expression bc thats what deaf people rely on to communicate. they're very expressive people
@@BunnySunnyification yes exactly what you said. In ASL if you sign something without the facial expressions it means nothing. In ASL you have to use your whole body in movement and facial expressions to explain what you are saying! Very important â€ïž many hearing people don't understand it but if given the opportunity to learn about the deaf culture (ASL) you should learn, it's amazing.
Well obviously they're going to look like they interested in knowing since they're paying a big amount of attention to not miss any sign because if they do the conversation probably will not make sense anymore, lol
I feel like you have to be involved, because sound allows you to turn away or do other things.
@@whatevereyewant Yeah, exactly.
This is the most comfortable silence I've been through in my whole life.
Me too!
It wasn't silence. It was a conversation. I don't understand your comment?
I love how they didnât try to cover the silence with music or anything and just kept it simplistic
Great. I'm glad that you loved that.
ShalomJackie Exactly what I was thinking!
1,000% correct on that observation, Shalom!
That's a lotta room tone! It worked very well, agreed
Same, it really makes you tune in, as well. đ
"I found myself, then lost myself. Found myself, lost myself, found myself again. I realized that the point of losing yourself again and again is to build yourself back up to a better version of yourself."
This just strikes me deep down to the core.
For sure
As a Deaf person l was smiling the whole video. Deaf representation is always great to see in media!
I'm not deaf and I was smiling the whole time too!
I'm deaf in my left ear and I also smiled through the whole thing
lol, same here
I'm not deaf but something about this video was beautifully unique. I really enjoyed watching two people express their emotions through their hands.
Same!!! Yay
I'm only seeing this now but I'd like to say thanks to Jubilee for not including the distraction of background music. The video really focuses on the dialogue between them which was so sweet and refreshing to witness.
I agree, its a great video!
My parents are deaf so I know sign language and I know how the deaf community is often ignored. This is freaking awesome! I love that they didn't put a voice interpreter so we have to pay attention and understand what its like for deaf people when they watch videos and not understanding what they say without the subtitles. Much respect for you Jubilee!
That's exactly what I was thinking. They didn't put the video into hearing terms, we had to meet them on their terms.
Hello fellow CODA! *waving* I agree, it is so incredibly nice to see more exposure to the deaf community. MORE videos please!
Jasmin are you blind as well or did you not get that trait?
Jasmin Hello from
another fellow CODA! Both my parents and all my siblings are Deaf, and sometimes itâs a bit weird because even though I consider myself part of Deaf culture, and I speak ASL, it just feels sort of weird and isolating. Like whenever my family goes out to a diner and itâs not in our hometown (where most people know ASL), Iâm always being used as the interpreter. It just feels weird, especially since I donât care for hearing that much. Sometimes I wish I was Deaf so that I could truly feel closer to my family.
This is probably a weird question and you probably get this a lot, but was it more difficult for you to learn words since your parents couldnât speak to you? Or did they try to teach you ASL instead?
Not a single word was spoken, yet so much was said. It's very beautiful.
Because ASL is a language of its own. Of course much was shared.
zipperzavy well said. :) no pun intended of course
You realise ASL is a language?
@@katheriner10 yes indeed.
@@zipperzavy They're still using words. This is like reading a book and saying "wow nothing was said and yet I've learnt so much".
Sometimes silent videos are the best cause you just get to focus of the people and personalitys
Better say: you just completely focus on subtitles and don't see even their faces!
Yeah their "pERsOnaLitYs"
Its personalities btw ur welcome ~ _Jared 19_
I'm just trying to read the captions but it's so fast
Wish he couldâve heard her cute laughđ
that's what i thought the whole video afterwards, she has such a cute laugh!
It was adorable!!
I agree it is cute out of context it is a little creepy
no hate just a few chills
The Element Family creepy that I said he Laugh is cute or bc he canât hear it or?? Haha
Ukiah Lisenby bruh it ainât that deep. And no disrespect but hearing people can appreciate and do the same..
I know theyâve met before but their chemistry!!!!
Chemistry power
The universe is DEFINITELY setting them up together â€ïž They've met before, they've got mutual friends, and now they've been reunited to make a 36 Q&A that could make 2 people fall in love!
I totally ship them đ
Like they said: the community isn't particularly large, especially if you narrow the scope to a certain region. Much greater odds of meeting someone you know or have interacted with.
the silence, asl,and abstract of the room was so aesthetic and peaceful... i love this.
let me guess you are going to make an edit saying "OMG THANKS FOR THE LIKES GUYS" i liked your comment btw
@@ALEX-ci4je lmao actually i was going to but changed my mind because it woudlve evidentely ruined the reasoning of my comment, but thanks for liking it :)
Wow, their chemistry is off the charts! And I love them both as individuals! They were very interesting and had a ton of depth! There was something very unique about this episode (and Iâm not referring to the fact that theyâre deaf). There was just a magic there. Like you can tell theyâre both incredible people. My fave Jubilee video thus far!
Fate intervened. They knew of each other but the universe decided it was time for them to get together đđ
Lindsay Sorensen exactly what I was thinking. it makes me believe that my time will come along too somedayđ
They seemed to really click and seemed really compatible. I love that the editing embraced ASL and didn't cut away while they were signing. A lot of times in movies and videos, they will cut in and out while someone is signing and it can be hard to follow along with the conversation.
I can't find where to maximize the picture, which was a problem with how often their hands went off screen or below screen. Otherwise, ya
This is the content that i signed up for. Nobody has ever done this before. So adorable
i,m jealous of how they can interact with each other and how much they can be pure and just talk and laugh and enjoy each other company ..... their are just so real ....... i have always loved deaf community ............. i hope their love story continue ..........
This was the most wholesome and genuine blind date video i have seen from Jubilee so far. It felt so fluid and they were so connected, the conversation never stopped and got an awkward silence.
With or without words, this was precious af.
There were a lot of words but in ASL. They said a lot.
Okay but like
1) this is such great representation
2) the couple has SUCH great chemistry and
3) I don't know what to say here but I loved this
I SHIP IT. Never have I ever seen such intimate connection, such spark between two people, they got together very well right off the bat. I need updates.
I've never been more excited to read subtitles in my life.
The fact that this talk was set at night really gave a nice and warm ambiance. love this!
watching them sign made me feel at peace
Watching this makes me appreciate the work it takes to read signing. I was constantly behind in the video and had to pause a few times đ I see how I rely too much on my ears rather than my eyes. I really do wish signing were standardized in school so we wouldnât have a language barrier with our deaf counterparts
Omg when they were looking into each otherâs eyes, it was so cute and I almost started crying. At like 7:48 it looks like heâs looking at her like âShe could be the oneâ đ
lol I did
all them tears came out girl đ
damn now im crying
Can we all applaud Jubilee, The Cut, and SoulPancake for making so much wholesome content? We need more of this on CZcams!
Yes because there is such thing as
*Love at first sight*
Oh my god
Zachary Laid Finding Freedom not for blind people
Love at first sound
Yeah I didnât believe in it until like a week ago and Iâm only 13 lol
BA DUM TSST
This is my favorite one from all the series. They were so cute and clearly interested in each other! I couldn't help but catch myself smiling throughout the video, so wholesome!
this is easily the best one y'all have put together. not just because they're both part of the same communities, but because they genuinely are so beautiful inside and out. i hope even if they don't go on a second date, that they stay friends.
just wow wow wow
I love how a deaf person is a filmmaker â€ïž I would love to see one of his films. I mean are they silent films
+1
I've never thought I could sit through a 9 minutes video with no sound and yet enjoy it. Thanks Jubilee đ.
Same here
No words were uttered through voices but in the whole series this is the most meaningful, fluid and insightful conversation I've witnessed.
After watching this I honestly believe in destiny. Those two knew each other for such a long time and found each other pretty cute and attractive and they met through this video. The moment she walked in the room and they both began to smile was the moment that love began to happen and destiny began to happen in its on kinda strange way but hey thats life and I hope they share great moments with each other because they were so cute together and really made my day
u wrote this with speech to text didn't u?
Honestly this makes me so happy. Iâm excited to be taking ASL in school next year.
*BLESS JUBILEE*

OMG LOVELINUS
Sitting here in tears... this was one of the most beautiful videos Iâve ever seen. I can relate in some ways to this young girl and her answers to the questions.
*This is just so pure* đđ
1,000 like lmao also it truly is!!
A. J they throwing up gang signs
I hope they got together after this! They really have such good chemistry. Also Ryssa's Insta is missyberry3 for anyone wondering! It's private though... â€ïž
they decided to stay friends :(
@@sylvanacamille1020 you gotta be kiddin'!!! đą
IM CRYING YALL THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
Here Come Dat boi because deaf culture is a huge part of my life, so the fact it is getting represented in a positive connotation is beautiful to me and im excited to see it, and i'm an emotional person.
Their chemistry was by far the best of the couples I've seen on Jubilee. They just clicked instantly! I love how comfortable they were with each other and had such a great time together! I wish them all the best for the future ahead!
When I saw them I was like âyup, they would look beautiful togetherâ
Okay, who else here thinks they both legit already had a crush on each other?? They both instantly were so excited to meet and catch up. So adorable!
Edit: I just saw the end. So fricken cute omg
This was so beautiful to watch. I love how passionate both are and how their interaction with each other seemed so genuine. I hope they stay friends or even more đ
Capri M yeah but what if they chillin and da fire alarm goes off tho
astro. Bruh I just died đđđ
i've watched these a few times but it's been the first time i cried when they stared into each other.
a deaf and a hearing person that knows ASL would be interesting
ti'titađș watch switched at birth itâs amazing
check out signduo here on yt! you'd love them :)
*I'm not crying... You're crying!*
Please, can we have more of this on CZcams? It's just so uplifting to see two people actually holding eye contact 98% of the time on their first date (people put the phones down for Christs sake đ) - and not only despite the fact that they've known each other before this date, they actually wanted to give a second date a try.
Seeing signing videos like this really does help show people that the silence does give you answers you seek. You just need to be able to understand their perspective and way of life. Most of my friends are learning ASL, and we use it to communicate during MB and WP practices, or if we need to tell something to someone across the room in one of our classes. ASL is an amazing and interesting language, and I've been trying to learn it as well.
i wanna see how many of these couples are still together ahhh
I hope they're happily married by now because damn they're so freaking cute, idc they totally fell in love right here in front of our eyes and it was beautiful.
this was the cutest thing ever, i died when they said they always thought they were cute :â)
So cute (: I'm glad you put in the 4 minutes of staring. I think they really connected on some level. Wonder what they're doing now..
That was beautiful. A voice can be heard without any words. They were so into the conversation that you just canât help but be in it too.
FAVORITE EPISODE SO FAR
The thing about this video is that I usually just listen and look up sometimes while I scroll through the comments. Can't do that with this video and I guess it's like that for most videos that deaf people watch.
The tables have turned. đđ
I had the same thing! Makes you think twice :)
Well deaf people still have to look at the sign language
@@mike2207 probably
Oh yes
Bleach Is Good For You I really am tbh
This episode is soooo underrated.
It's like my favourite one so far
Now make two blind people go on a BLIND date! ;)
Toxic
I was actually thinking about this, the only problem would be the last task of looking at each other for 4 minutes
đđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Angel17 Ureña they could hold hands
At the end of the day itâs all about connecting.. it doesnât matter in what wayđ€·đ»ââïž
đđđ
I've never been so relaxed watching 2 love birds going on a blind date and having deep conversation. Like WOW!
Yes SHIP they look so good together
this is a perfect representation of "Actions speak louder than words"
i love how cute they look together, and how peacefully comfortabld they are with each other.. it's cuteđ
This was probably the sweetest most humble 36 questions, thank you for this Jubilee
God she's so beautiful and the way she smiles it's really cute
this is so beautiful. even just hearing them laugh makes me tear up.
These videos always make me so happy. All of your videos are entertaining, but this particular series really strikes a chord with me. They're always so positive and light-hearted and put me in such a great mood. I really enjoyed that you brought the deaf community into this one as well. I know there are so many deaf individuals in search of companionship and for someone who understands what they're going through (and you can't truly do so without having experienced growing up deaf). I feel like this video gives hope to those still searching that there is someone for everyone :)
This has to be my favorite Jubilee video of all time! They're so involved in the conversation and genuinely seem interested in each other. Also, I kinda wanna learn sign language now?? Haha nice video and I hope their relationship keeps going!
This is so pure, oh my. Itâs so refreshing to see the deaf community given the attention they deserve. These two are beautiful.
I love how diverse Jubilee's videos are, as well as their amazing concepts. Please never stop making videos!
Iâve seen quite a few of your videos now but that was beautiful. A lot of deaf, blind, mute people struggle a lot to find happiness with someone else in certain parts of the world due to their disabilities, what you guys did here was heartwarming and fantastic for society đ
Thank you, thank you for this. The deaf culture is so amazing! I feel that they are so overlooked and I truly appreciate this. I am currently in ASL 3, I fell in love in ASL 1 and plan to continue learning ASL! & Of course deaf people can find love, just as a regular hearing person can. I believe Love is universal â€ïžđ€
Thank you for capturing the essences of the deaf community
I ship them so hard.
When they were staring at each other đ„ș I wanted to cry. You can tell they have chemistry!!! The fact that theyâve met before and they got back into contact, itâs meant to beâ€ïž I hope theyâre currently together rn, rooting for them!!
please get married, please get married... please get married!
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but the way they connected... was on a much deeper level -- I believe it would have happened despite of their deafness.
What do you mean by despite their deafness? Did you think deaf people were not able to form deep connections?
@@Whimswirl Not at all. What I meant was that despite of them having the commonality of being deaf, they seem compatible. Not that that the deaf community cannot form deep connections...
Just cause they both deaf and can have a nice simple conversation doesnât make them compatible.
Daniel Salvador that is true. Touché
I love that she said losing yourself is a way of building yourself up into a better version of you. That's so beautiful, and so true! I think everyone needs to hear that.
the deaf community is so close, iâm not surprised that they already knew each other lol!!
It's the staring that does it. When someone gives you that much attention and intention you think they care. Simple. Takes things to the next level.
What a true blessing it is to be able to communicate, to laugh and to hear them laugh.
This is one of the best things I've ever watched. The aesthetic tied in with the expressiveness of their asl and how well they got along... I loved every second
This was amazing and her laugh is so adorable!
jubilee this is so awesome!! representation is so important and to show hearing people deaf people aren't these stereotypes of "disabled" or "different" is making my heart swell! thank you!
One of the sweetest videos I've ever watched. It's amazing how two people can pour out their hearts without saying a word. These two amazing people looks happy and interested in each other. Bless them.
I feel like that this series not only shows that one can fall in love with anyone with those 36 questions but that any human being is so beautiful that it only takes 36 questions to make anyone fall in love with them.
This video made me feel butterflies in my chest. Loved both of them and their interaction. Idk if I'm crying happy tears or because I feel lonly now
OMG THIS IS SO CUTE AND SWEET I JUST LOVE HOW ACTUALLY RELAXING THIS IS
I love how all people involve in this series are so beautiful and lovely
He said "she can make deep conversations! that's important for me", I like that point so well! DEEP CONVERSATION are lit
I LOVE THIS! I'm minoring in ASL and Deaf culture and this was such nice representation. The way you filmed it was almost perfect which is very rare!
I found myself tearing up throughout and am not sure why. I really enjoy this series, but this one was my favorite. (And I am an marriage and family therapist as well.)
I teared up... It was so pure and sincere
Love the representation, I always adore videos featuring hearing loss and deaf individuals. And to not add in background music or sound, because our world is more silent to begin with, thus it's authentic of who we are.... yes! Thank you!
Thats unique. A blind date for a deaf couple. These two click so well.
so beautiful! when a kind soul meets another kind soul!
This is so pure and beautiful! â€ïž
They seem to have beautiful souls
watching this as a hearing person is enlightening. they are both paying so much attention, they are so involved, there is so much eye contact and they're incredibly expressive. this is what all conversation should be like.
This was so so beautiful and I hope they found the one in each other đ
Its incredible how this video make feel more connecting instead when ppl talking, I feel their connection af, like they really meaning the words they say, its awesome, I think nobody deserve to have an disability.
YESSSSSSS IM STUDYING ASL RN
Valeria Rios ME TOO! How far along are you?
Me too! Iâm half way through asl 1 and have grown such an appreciation for the deaf community
You go girl!
Im gonna start next month, Im soo excited!!
Moved nearly to tears, honestly. I don't know anything about the deaf community, but I'm imagining the barriers and difficulties in these folks' lives. This made it especially awesome that they could find one another.
THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING THE DEAF COMMUNITY. THIS IS EVERYTHING
I love their honesty, and their confidence and familiarity with themselves. These two in particular to me know what its like to feel alive and to live as true to their own being as possible.
