    This is absolutely beautiful. Slow, detailed and shows all aspects. The only thing I missed looking down on the steep side to loch Etive.

      Thank you Adam 👍 When i now look back at the summit footage of Stob na Broige i didnt give it much time as i usually do and should have done maybe it was due to me just wanting to get back to my car as it was boiling hot! Thank you for watching and for the nice comment, Take care, peter :)

    Can’t wait to do these two with my Dad later this year. It was my late Mums favourite mountain in Scotland and we have always said we WILL get to the top one day in her memory! Just hope we have similar weather to this Peter! 🤞🏔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Unfortunately I never made the hills I had set out to do, it was too hot, and I wasn't really ready for what I was up against, hadn't been on the hills for a few weeks.... I will try again on a cooler day, and I might have a little more luck :)
    Watching your video's makes me what to go hillwalking just about everyday, really do enjoy your video's, thanks

    nice vid - I did this today and made the same mistake as you thinking stob na broige was the munro on the right after going through the scree lol. Still snow on the "gap" so a lot of scrambling at the start. Really fun

      @MUNROSnCORBETTS  Před 3 lety +1

      If only it was eh lol! Last time i was up there i met a group of about 6 walkers from from Liverpool who told me they had just come down from Stob na Broige which was actually Stob na Doire i couldnt bring myself to point out their mistake as they had waited ages to come up and bag these two Munros :))) Thanks Chris take care mate, peter.

    Another great video. I managed to get up there on Friday 18/09/15. Weather much like you got and views were fantastic. Got there at 8.30 and more or less done the same route as you. I had the mountain to myself until I reached Stob na Broige where I met a group of six going the other way. After that I never met another soul. Couldnt believe it considering the day it was. Thanks for posting. Look forward to your next one.

      +Robert Currie 8:30am was the same time i got to Stob Dearg too. I`m sure it was roasting as well when i first climbed there, Ive climbed it two more times since. The last time was via the Curved Ridge which was brilliant, If you havent done it that way i would suggest you give a go if you can. Cheers for watching, peter.

    This expedition remains the best day I've had on the hills and that's saying something. Thanks to my late friend Colin and his policy of doing all tops in case they were converted to Munros in a revision, I got Stob na Broige as well as Stob Dearg that day. However, I would be happy to return. Enjoy!

      Hi Patrick thanks for watching my friend, Yes Scotland does have a challenging climb or two. I havent ever climbed in Ireland(only been to ireland once to see U2) before so i cant compare myself. But no doubt your brilliant videos will keep me and many others well informed on irelands peaks. Thanks Patrick and take care, peter.

    This was really informative, thanks for sharing. Planning to do Etive Mhor with some friends this week (do you think it's ok in the wet?) and we were hoping to get a picture of ourselves with Stob Dearg behind us in all of its glory. Any advice on where to go (by car) to get a good shot of that distinctive pyramid before we climb?
    Cheers for the video again! Subscribed so I know where to come for new climbs!
