    Today's video is all about learning which cake pan to use for baking certain sizes of cakes. With so many different sizes of cake pan available, it can be difficult to know which pan to use.
    I will talk about, which pan, is best to use for baking a 1 kg cake or 2 kg cake, a tall cake or a flat cake.

    Hello. I would appreciate your thoughts on the height I should buy as a new wedding cake baker. I see 2"n 3" and 4" height for cake pans and not sure which to select. Kind thanks

      Baking in the 2" deep pans, bakes very nicely and evenly.
      But, another option is to bake in 3" deep or 4" deep pans, making a taller cake. In my experience, 3" high pans do slow browning of the tops. Cakes baked in the taller pans also have less dome because the sides of the cake set a little more slowly. You will slice the cake layer in half, allowing for more layers of frosting and filling in between. The depth you choose totally depends on your preference.
      Get the Fat Daddio's pans if you are looking for a great pan to reliably bake all your cakes. You will have great success with those pans.
