    When I was a young adult I thought it would be interesting to fly a plane, but after my solo flight I walked away and never looked back. My daughter as a young adult decided she wanted to experience a 26-day water fast and came back from Panama looking like a brittle Don Quixote. I’m glad she didn’t go for the 40-day option. When my 8-year-old granddaughter expressed nervousness about singing at her first concert, I showed her the video of the New Zealand women’s rugby team haka. She later told me that it worked for her. I am hopeful that she will choose a safer rite passage 😊
