He said, "you don't know the pain and damage you have to put your body through. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do it". There's a huge difference between Muslims fighting for the sake of defending Islam, and Muslims getting in the ring and fighting for nothing other than fame and/or money. Why dagestanis are different is because they could achieve fame and success, adhering to their religion which is almost impossible in this day and age. Hijab clearly said that it is not because only muslim way of life, but its because of faith of god or sumthing else, christian fighter is also can be said as religious fighter. So to muslim, its okay brothers, we dont need to have good fighter to be proud muslim, we already know that our way of life is from allah and it is the best there is, even it can inspire fighter to be the best of them.
So many is maybe a wrong word because most of the biggest fighters are Christians
In MMA there is maybe Khabib(who is overrated) who is maybe in the top 10 UFC fighters and Usman who is like top 7(and one of my favorite fighters) and could for sure be higher in the future
And now for the new ones there is Pereira, Khamzat and Islam but we have to see how long they'll stay on top(I wish Pereira the best because I really like him)
And in Boxing there are Ali and Tyson who are some of the biggest
But it would be wrong to say that they are dominating the sport because they aren't really and there are right now mostly people from other religions on the top :/
Because I could say like a bunch of fighters from other religions who are on one Level are above the guys I called right now(at least in MMA above them, Ali and Tyson are both top 5 boxers in my opinion)

The competition is happening in eurpe and USA, thus it's more likely to have more Christian fighters and only the finest Muslim fighters can find their way there.

It's not "y there are so many good Muslim fighters". It's "y there are so many good Russian fighters". Outside of Russia, there are no Muslim fighters that r elite, (belal Muhammad is the only 1). And outside of Muslim Russians, there's plenty of white Russian fighters that r elite, which proves that it's jus the Russian combat school n way of life that makes these fighters this good. But I def do think that the clean Muslim way of life is definitely very beneficial n is a good characteristic for an athlete to have.

Bro did you just forget Kamaru Usman, the Nigerian born american mixed martian artist who was the reigning champion of UFC's walterweight division for a very long time until recent and has a record of 20-2 last I checked. Many mixed martial arts coaches who trained some of the UFCs most elite fighters like Georges St-Pierre were Muslim, but they weren't Russian. No doubt that fighters coming from Dagestan and Chechnya are some of the most hard core fighters in the world with an amazing discipline and mentality, but I'm just writing this to prove that there are also many other amazing and elite Muslim fighters from places other than Russia.

Yea but muslim ufc fighters purposely dont fight each other to avoid a Muslim being defeated. All this does is further jam weight divisions up. So, as I was, it's more than just jamming up divisions, it's extremely detrimental to the UFC as a whole. It also doesn't help that Ali Abdul Aziz is a known animal molester.

its about disipline which is ingrained in them at a early age. Alcohol is also told to them at a young age it is haram, you see alot of fighters that arent muslim, go to parties and drink alcohol and get on drugs, muslims dont really do that and they dedicate themselves to training.
