Thank you, Nas
There is an another method to make big amounts of coin early. Requires patience skill and knowledge.
Firstly. Safely Loot your first town and finish any easy quests to provide protection from any rep loss, then fast travel to each city looting.
If done fast you can loot most interior chests safely of two towns selling items at a different village and when night falls you can loot outside of the towns.
I personally set my season length to 30 days to efficiently loot all towns. Then use the left over time to set up your village layout and have 8 or more workers collecting logs sticks stone and straw to build.
When you have your desired village and farms build and planted, change your season length and sleep to the next season.
(I prefer to let my workers gather alot of materials to empty all traders of gold and stock pile for future buildings before sleeping the season)
Hi, i don't know if you are aware of this trick, but when you'll go mine you can do this on the last Day of the season by the afternoon, make a campfire inside the cave, Drop all the ores around the campfire when you'll getting full. When you clear the cave by the end of the Day, you go next to the campfire grab all the ores and sleep, then you'll be teleported to your house with all the ores and stones even if you are super heavy.
Hi, Yes I was aware of this trick. However, Thank you for sharing it here for others to see. 😉
I was unaware that this worked for overloading me.
Thank you!
just got into the game for 1.0 release and I was so clueless and overwhelmed last night while playing lol. your videos are helping a lot!
There are plenty to see on my channel and I've got many more planned. Thank you for watching
So I'm about 3 steps in so far and I gotta say, those graphics settings are a life saver. I can actually see rocks now and don't have to wait for winter. Also, thank you for making videos. Most videos on here about MD are from almost a year ago and a lot has changed in that year.
Thank you for watching
You can always press Alt to go into "hunt mode" or whatever it's called and see rocks (and other resources)
This game reminds me of a more survival version of Kingdom Come Deliverance. I just got it today and my computer isn't the nest but it's been running it with hardly any problem and I'm obsessed with it.
😃😃
Hey, how much VRAM do you have?
I've been perusing a lot of MD videos trying to find exactly this. Good job and thanks
Thank you
you explain things very well I appreciate what you do.
Thank you
You nailed it! The best possible video for best start in game!
THX!!!
This video really helped me get started.
One thing I've learned is, instead of holding down the collect button on small trees / sprigs and waiting to collect 2-3 sticks, it can be quite a bit faster to find an open area covered with dead sticks and just walk around looking at the ground and spamming the collect button (I use an XBox controller so it's "A" by default). This method does a few things for me - it collects the stones too, and it ignores all the things I'm not interested in like herbs and mushrooms.
Nice tip for controller users. Thank you.
This is what I do.. you can get hundreds of sticks and stones by just running through the forest between towns just spamming the collect key.
Thank you so much for this very informative video. It was just what I was looking for when I started playing tonight. :)
😃
I'm loving these videos, thanks! One thing I've found is I'm gathering SO much stuff I need to build a house so I can build storage so I'm not just dumping stuff on the road. Looking at your settlement I think I'll follow your lead and build my first settlement at the area behind the road at the river crossing going north west from Gostovia and south of Baranica; again before you cross the river.
😃👍
Thank you for these tips!! I just started playing last night and my game was going very badly so it was getting to be pretty frustrating. Going to start a new game now and am looking forward to getting that bow!
You got this! Check out my channel as I have lots of Guide videos that will help you. A new one is Premiering in about20 this morning as well. Have fun.
That’s a great start, I must get back into MD now my PC is finally fixed! Great video, I shall be watching your new series on this game
Hi Nanny, Good to see you in the comments again. I am glad you were able to get your PC fixed. Thank you and Enjoy. 😃😃
Amazing video. This is going to make my gameplay so much easier and smooth. Liked and subbed!
Awesome, thank you!
Tks for this video. I had not tried the game yet but this video for making a lot of money to start even though I did not get as much because I am slow but it was like a tutorial on how everything works. Helped a lot.
I'm glad it helped. Thank you for watching.
What an excellent video, really inspiring as I do not have the game yet. I feel much more able to understand how to be successful now. I will likely buy it in the next day or so. Many thanks 😊
Thank you for watching. This weekend is a good time to buy the game if you haven't already. It is currently on sale on Steam. 😃👍
Appreciate the awesome Info vid. loved it and appreciate it!
God bless you my friend!
😃 Thank you
Great video! I learned so much. And I hope to teach as well... you do not have to equip the knife. You just need one in inventory to use it to skin.
Thank you, Yes you do not need to equip the knife. However, if you do not have one equipped, you could sell the one you need by mistake. That is why I keep my knife in the #8 hotkey. That way it does not stack with the other knives I may be crafting to sell.
I never thought of reducing the shadow and vegetation settings. Makes finding rocks souch easier. As well as hunting fox and rabbits.
👍😃
The settings are a game changer! Thx =)
Thank you for watching. I have a whole playlist of Medieval Dynasty Guides if you are interested. bit.ly/3PMoESS and I'm working on updating some of my older guides as well.
Thank you! I wish I had watched this before I started. One quality-of-life improvement I like with the latest version is that you can craft all of your stuff at once instead of having to do it individually. You can select it in options so it saves time.
Thank you for watching. I have made more recent guides on "First Day" adventures and my most recent has a game save download with it as well. You can check it out here. czcams.com/video/RiZrdCZmjys/video.html
@@HecticNasari Thank you very much!
I didn't know about quicksave and quickload, thank you! The rest is pretty much how I do it, except for that I like to spend my first night robbing Gostovia blind while dodging the town guards with torches (it's the town with the most planks, plus there are 2 bags, 2 hoes and a shovel to get my farm started with on day 2, as well as a wooden bowl in which you can craft your first potages for your own use before you can craft those bowls yourself). Most crops are planted in spring, so I spend most of my 2K on fertiliser (careful, it's heavy!) and seeds from Edwin and then day 2 is all about clearing an area and planting a 10x10 field with 10 of everything you can plant in spring (but 30 flax). (To be allowed to do that you need to have talked to the castelan!) It's a big investment, but it means you won't ever need to buy food or seeds again, and it'll be the only time you need to buy fertilizer, too, because you can easily pick 1000 berries come summer and let them rot your first year (or two) and then get pigs to produce manure for every year after that. :) I also sell the wooden hammer inmediately (yeah no sentimental value haha), because it's heavy, the second best thing to craft in-hand and you can make your own from the get-go. On day 3 I go to the named hunter living by himself in the top right corner of the map where the roads meet, to buy the best bow and some stone arrows and steal his planks. I craft some more stone knives to save up for either a few fruit seedlings or the simple large backpack and large pouch (which you can also buy in Denica btw, where there are just a few more planks). Whenever I'm in Gostovia inbetween I do Alwin's quest, to make sure it doesn't make me wait 'until next summer' once summer has already arrived. All the planks are for my house, because I won't have a Woodshed yet to make them myself. You can much more easily just use straw instead, but I like to go for stone and planks right away, because there's no rush to have any buildings until the first harvest is in (for storage). Also, instead of dropping piles or stones and sticks on the ground, I craft whatever I have on hand and keep collecting, so that I don't accidentally overload or forget about a pile or two, but I can see the video's method working better for others. :) Another place with really good free stuff is just a tad bit north of 24:30, right on the water's south edge just to the left of the bridge. There's (usually?) boots, a better shirt and a fishing spear. Enjoy!
Sounds like a pretty solid plan. I do like the idea of getting some crops going early in spring, and I might have to try going to see Sambor (Lone Hunter) and buy my first bow in my next Series. Thank you for sharing. 👍
@@HecticNasari I haven't done the math to see if it's (all that) profitable to run a farm on your own and sell the dishes from your house's cooking pot, when you have to buy the fertilizer and chop the trees for the bowls and plates yourself, but I like the idea of becoming self sufficient as soon as possible. :)
The game has changed so much since its very first version on early access. Making stone knives wasn't the ideal way to make coin, it was gathering straw from the reeds, You could easily carry over 2k of them, and even though they didn't sell for much, it was still easy coin plus you got the xp in survival skills.
It has changed a lot since last Sept. I’m excited for the 1.0 release on Thursday.
I looked all over for straw NEVER would I have thought of REEDS! THANK YOU!
👍👍
the help section explains the reeds for straw thing, and lots more =]
One of my new favorite game I started playing yesterday and now I'm hooked
🎉😃
Best mechanic in game is to load up on stones and lumber just before new season I mean really load up like hundreds of rock and lumber as you get instantly ported back to your hut at end of season which makes long travel distance an easy task.
There is a bow with copper arrows in a old camp up in the wood before the first island
😉👍
@@HecticNasari if my comment made any since LOL
Hey, Nas, you should run through the clay areas each spring. Every single time, I seem to find a shovel, usually bronze or iron, 4 out of 5 years at each location.
This is also a great tip (I do check these locations in my own game). Thank you for sharing :)
I had no idea, thank you!
nice tutorial once again :)
Thank you :)
Thank you.
You're welcome!
That’s A LOT of technology points to unlock the Tavern before even setting foot in Gostovia 🤔😂
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but they're also super profitable. 🤔
Lol
you are the Bob Ross of medieval Dynasty lol . that voice :)
Thank you. That is a wonderful compliment.
#1 tip should be to click "quick craft" in the customize menu before you start a game. No need to minimize the game or do other things
This video was made a few months before the 1.0 launch. I do have plans to update this video soon. Quick craft is awesome. Thanks for watching.
Earlier in the games development one could run to every town and steal every item and make close to 3,000 coin. I then would go buy the pickaxe for easier stone gathering. I haven't played in awhile but I don't think it is possible to make that much anymore.
It may still be possible, but you run the high risk of reputation loss not to mention, it would take longer to run to each town and steal everything and then sell. This way you are gaining skill / technology points as well. Thank you for watching.
I went exploring most of the hidden items and treasures. I got more than 4000 coins in 4 days without crafting anything. Hehehe
I've got another starter video showing that as well. "Show me the Coins" 😃👍
On the island near Tutki there is also a storage chest (mine had 300 coins 2 potions and something else i can't recall)
Thanks
1 more place for a cart or abandoned camp is the stream near the falls to the east of the starting village
😉👍
You can craft stone arrows, and bow in the hunting lodge too.
👍😉
Hey, i am new to the game and i really like your video, so new sub :)
Thank you and Welcome to the community.
@@HecticNasari Thank you ;)
Some great starter tips. I'm not playing the beta. Did they change the hours you can sell stuff. In the past I've been able to sell as soon as they wake up. You just need to go where they live. Either they are just out front or still in their house.
Also, unless it's changed, there is a merchant in Tutki. The animal breeder who raises mules also sells saddles, saddle bags, horseshoes and animal feed.
The vendor sell times did not change. If they are awake you can sell to them. For the video, it is easier to wait until the tavern vendor is in the tavern, rather than search for her in her house. I forgot about the donkey vendor in Tutki. Thank you.
@@HecticNasari I can see waiting until she's at the tavern, especially if you left knives on the counter. Unfortunately it seems like a lot of the time unless you are within a certain range of them they don't leave the house. They seem almost as lazy as I am.
I want to buy the game, but my potato only has GeForce MX150 2gb videocard which is below the minimum according the system requirements. My CPU and 12gb ram is well within the requirements though (my unit also has integrated UHD 620, 6gb shared memory - not sure if it helps the video in any way). One site says I can run with low setting at 50 fps, or medium at 45fps - will it be decent, and worthy experience for me? I know system requirements are usually inflated to play it safe, but I want to make sure before spending my money - as the price is a bit pricy for my currency.
I am not a good source for tech questions about a PC and what it can handle. The best thing I can suggest is maybe going to the Toplitz discord and posting this question there as there will most likely be more qualified people to answer it there. Thank you for watching my video though.
I remember when i first time saw video for MD game play. I was like (Vince McMahon meme).
KC:D graphic
The Forrest HUD
Oblivion UI and fonts< pass out*>
10/10 i was not disappointed with the game on my first play through.
👍
Man there’s so much I still don’t know about Medieval Dynasty, like how there’s backpacks 😄
😃👍
Awesome video. Great tips.
Thank you
great video as always thank you .. what would be the best item to sell , profit wise , time , ROI .. nothing to do with weight can be anything ..
Thank you. Hmmm best item to sell. That is tough when you take weight out of the equation. The whole point of profit in this game deals in weight. How many of an item can you carry to make money as efficiently as possible each season. I would literally have to test each item in the game from gathering material to crafting items along with every process in between. Have tried looking on the MD wiki page, checked steam guides and forums or the toplitz discord for possible answers. I feel you might be able to get an answer much sooner than waiting for me to do all the testing. However, I’ll add this idea to my list of video ideas. Thank you
@@HecticNasari thank you ,, if I find something will let you know ...
I have extra points & need to know where to place them, Love the video Great job :)
After placing a few of the basic skill points needed, the points are fluid. You can place points where you need them for particular situations. You can also reset your points by talking to your wife. This way you can move points around as you need to. There is no real cookie-cutter way to set up your skill trees. Which skill tree are you needing help with?
@@HecticNasari LOL the whole tree :-) You never mentioned if you die you lose all the stuff you just bought, Might be best to set a save after you buy those extra bags, I have bought them 2x now & i am broke, I will start over again, That process of 2k coins took me 3 game days to complete to where you buy the bags.
1. How do you sleep without a bedroll or house. ?
2. Whats best way to carry water. ?
@@kylelwiley9743 I mention F5 quick save a lot in my videos. It's cheap and easy. Just hit F5 before doing or right after doing most anything and you have a save point in case the shit hits the fan. You can sleep at any crafted campfire. I tis in your personal crafting wheel under the Furniture. I like to carry water in 2 buckets (I typically steal them from Gostovia or Borowo) and fill them at the river.
@@HecticNasari so when you die you loose everything right ? Do you lose your wife too ? & any home you built.. I dont want to put that much time in a game & lose it all
@@kylelwiley9743 If your heir is 18 you will play as him when Racimir dies. Otherwise as long as you are saving the game along the way, you can always revert back to your last game save, quicksave or autosave.
If you saw my comment on the 4000 coin video, I'm trying this video as suggested. Will follow up shortly
Follow up for XBox: For the most part it was spot on. I did as suggested and had to restart the game until that cart spawned at the beginning. From there most of the video was as advertised. Thanks for the great video.
This game takes some getting used to for a complete new beginner such as myself
I have over 300 videos for Medieval Dynasty including 5 series play throughs going all the way back to early access and many tutorials in the tips and tricks playlist. Feel free to check them out and ask questions in the comments or join my discord (link in the comments) Happy Hunting
Honestly, i just found this game a few days ago, and i didnt know i needed it until i found it, theres so much potential with this game, i just really hope the devs dont fuck it up.
👍😃🤣
@hectic nasari there is a chest near the starting point where i got 300 coins and some iron ore. Its a little bit south east of the starting area.
those chests are random in everyone's game. What is shown for you may not be in my game at the same time. However, I'm trying to keep an eye out for all the loot. Thanks
@@HecticNasari aah ok, anyway thx for the tips i had 2.8k coins in 1 day (thx to 2 chests aswell)
@@relixz4085 👍👍
There is an initial setting for carrying unlimited weight but then are you really playing the game? I like this approach.
Just an FYI, when this video was recorded there was not the option for Unlimited Carry Weight.
I wonder how much will change now i's 1.0? downloading via gamepass now. thanks for the videos. very helpful.
Thanks for watching. Happy Hunting 😃🏹
Sadly it seems they upped the cost of making stone knives, so takes a bit longer to get a nice stockpile.
The knife still costs the same as it has before 1.0. Although, I just put out a video that shows a better way to make even more coin on the first day.
Damn I arrived too late and Lubomira is asleep :(
Just picked this game up a week ago or so. I set my game to a 30 day season. I dunno if anybody else does that; I just thought it would be funner to play a very long game.
Lots of folks set their days to 30. When you are ready to skip to the next season, just go to a bed and you will have that option after three days into a season. 😉
I was terrified of drinking water out of the river... So that's ok? I was sure I would get cholera or dysentary or something by drinking it without boiling it or something.
River water is good to go. Drink up 😃
i wonder if the devs made the days go faster? by the time i was done making first set of knives and selling them, it was night
the game is still at the same speed. It might take some people a little longer than others, but the video is showing you how to get to your first 2000 coins. The process is the same no matter how long a player takes. Thank you for watching.
So just found this video and have restarted 12 times and still no cart lmao just my luck!
😉😉
I think it's better to restart save for a kind king rather than restart for the spawn cart
Kind king? Can you explain that, please?
@@jenpai1551 On the upper part of the map you can see the name of your king. There are 3 overall king types, good neutral and bad. Ideally you want a good king for certain benefits upon completing their missions. For example, if you complete the mission of a good king, you will get tax decrease and villager happiness increase. But if you completely the mission of a bad king, you will get tax decrease still but villager happiness decrease instead of increase.
Does this still apply a year later?
Yes. Only real difference is there is now fast crafting. So, technically you can make more money the first day. Also, there is a new updated video in my tips and tricks playlist for 4000 coins first day. Along with a game save download for you to play on.
Shadow and foliage are low...okaaaay! My graphics card thanks you.
😉
I started a new game 10 times but there is never a cart at the starting point. Is it possible they eliminated that? Great video btw, thanks!
Anything is possible, I have not seen anything in the update notes about it though. The cart just has bonus items in it worth about 100 coins. It is the same value as about 7 stone knives. Thanks for watching
Just a heads up for anyone else also asking this question, the cart is still in the game. I started a new game 3 times to get the cart in my game. :)
@@carolneill9955 👍
@@carolneill9955 Thanks! I tried at least 10-15 times but it was never there. But they seem to spawn randomly, I was probably just very unlucky.... story of my life
I am lazy I just put on unlimited carry weight. Much faster lol.
Nothing wrong with Unlimited weight. Happy Hunting 😉👍
this game abit dumb its like 5deys till winter from start if u do quests there no chence to level up to make fur stuff xd idk how i can start it its just bad
This game may not be for you. However, I do have several guides on my channel to help you and most of them are for beginners. I also have 300+ videos covering actual gameplay. So, you should be able to find some helpful info there as well. Anyway, if you find that this game is not for you, that is Ok too and I wish you the best in your adventures. Thank you for watching and for your comment.
Does this apply to consoles? And are there any decent glitches to get a OP start
Yes, this guide is still relevant with the new update and I don't do glitch guides.
tip for anyone watching: watch at 1.5x speed
I'm stuck, stacking my stacks of sticks!
Esc>Unstuck
Problem with this game lately is that drinking from water skins and buckets does nothing for thrist.
I have not noticed that issue, it sounds like possibly a bug.
I got 3000 within 1 day. Hehehe!

pls tell me that the game is not just me collecting sticks and stones
Not at all, just trying to help you get the best start in the game.
@@HecticNasari its a great guide and u explain very well

Warning: 95 percent of this video is just rambling about sticks and stones. Here and there along the way in between he will give some usefull tips that are actually relevant to your progress.
Thank you for the public service announcement. As a growing channel, not all videos are going to be perfect. Feel free to check out my tips and tricks playlist for more helpful videos. (They do get shorter and more concise 😉👍) Happy Hunting
Only 2k coins? I can make 10k in the same time xD this game isnt very good with money
Thank you for flexing. However, keep in mind that this video was created almost 6 months ago during the testing phase. Collecting coin at that time was not as easy as it is now. However, the concept is still viable for beginners. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
@@HecticNasari oh i knowb i wasent flexing, i was more stating that its way to easy to make money, everybody is willing to buy stone knifes

God you dont half drag shit out lol
Again with another witty one-liner and no back context. Not sure why you woke up today and decided to try and poke holes in my dreams, but this is a free platform and there are many different content creators that make videos for this game. However, I do appreciate you watching my video and leaving comments. It really does help with the CZcams algorithm. 😉👍

Your one-liner with no back context might need a little explaining. It's been a minute since I made this video and No, I'm not color-blind. 😃👍
@@HecticNasari Ok no its all.good im.not hating
Im.just laughing because you said greem rocks and they were brown lol
Ah ok, this is why context matters. Thank you for clarifying. I'll have to go back and watch the video, but I'm guessing that I was referring to the rocks when using the Alt vision to highlight objects.
So I'm over here on xbox 1 and I don't have any of those features... I'm unable to change anything as such sadly
I do not play on console, but I'm guessing that you are talking about the Foliage settings? They would be located in the Main Menu Graphic settings.
