Ed is punk royalty - and overlooked for way too long in the media. For me, his verses on 'Rock N Roll Swindle' are among the most outrageous, ingenious and vivid moment of British Punk history. Revisit those Tenpole Tudor albums - they're infinitely better than the majority of UK Punk that has been overly hyped since the heyday. Kudos to the documentary makers for interviewing Ed - I'll watch the doc on the strength of it!

A legend. I'm happy to say I got to see the band. It was souch fucking fun. I also got to sit and chat with the guitarist. He's the coolest cat in the biz. They played a stiff show in albany ny way back when. Good stuff.
Am I right in assuming that Eddie Tudor Pole descends from John de la Pole the 2nd Earl of Suffolk, 1485, who himself was the great grandson of Geoffrey CHAUCER the man who (along with William Shakespeare) gave shape to the English language as we know it??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eddie Tudor Pole is a descendent of the great genius that was Chaucer??? This is nuts!!!!! But what a heritage. The few songs that Eddie wrote for Tenpole Tudor are indeed masterstrokes of songwriting. It kind of makes sense though given whose genes he carries!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Ed for your contribution to adding quality in the litany of British pop music. Brilliant!!
