This video takes you on a journey through Indian cricket over the last two decades, This is an interesting video, you can see this as a fan or from rohit and team india persepective(i tried something, let's see how it goes), We reminisce about the transitional phase of 2007 when senior players retired and MS Dhoni led a new generation to glory, winning the ICC WT20 2007 and ICC WC 2011.
With legends like Sachin Tendulkar retiring, we witnessed the rise of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shikhar Dhawan. Despite building a strong team for the 2015 World Cup, Team India faced a challenging period after the 2013 Champions Trophy, failing to win any of the next 10 ICC events. The interesting thing is, Team India was never a failure; they just couldn't cross the final line. Now that we have won the 2024 T20 World Cup, it feels like the curse of being chokers is finally ending.

Fun fact : Srilanka lost 2007 ODI World Cup final against Australia, 2009 T20 WC final against Pakistan, 2011 WC final against India, 2012 T20 WC Final against West Indies. They finally won in t20 WC in 2014 agaist India. Kumar Sangakkara and Jayawardene last tournament just like for VIRAT AND ROHIT now. India also played most ICC finals in last 10 years.
Its good when legends get their due.

If I am not wrong has played every semis in tournament from 2013 till now (2021 t20 was a bs tournament every match in dubai was won by batting past so ignore that.)
A true ICT fan watching this indepth analysis rejuvenated my feelings through 2011 to 2024 really I was shouting like a child that night when India won t20 world cup.

kohli made a blunder in 2017...You dont bowl first in a big final😊 We gifted them a trophy.And 2023 wc, thanks to our management...you either make a double paced wicket or a fully flat one which gives equal opportunities to both sides.Aussies outplayed us.

@@jedirambo1577 you said Kohli made a blunder by bowling first in a big final and gifted them a trophy but there's no written sure short rule to ensure victory in a game, you have to play good cricket, Australia opted to bowl first and won the game against all odds, i know pitch came into play but in 2017 ct india opted to chase bcz i think they expected Pakistani batting to collapse under pressure but the no ball to fakar zaman changed our fate
@@jedirambo1577 india opted to chase bcz in semi final ( which is also a High pressure KO game) india comfortably chased down a decent total and won by 9 wickets, India expected to replicate the same in final

ODI grandmasters and still no trophy, they have the highest win percentage of more than 61% but somehow they always choke in knockouts
