I tried their seeds with excellent germination, 99%. I've been growing out of the same batch for 3 yrs. They are beginning to lose viability, but still getting some. I loved this episode of GGW. Good one to see what certified organic seed breeder goes thru.
I loved this one too. Tom Stearns was a great resource to the company and industry. He recently retired from the company.
I started buying from High Mowing last summer after I saw Susan Mulvihill using their seeds in one of her You Tube videos. It was great to see their operation and it's great knowing that I can help this revolution in some small way by supporting their business. 🌱 Thanks, Joe and crew, for your hard work to educate people. Here's hoping that the tide will begin turn more quickly for all our sakes.
Thanks Linda! It is amazing how much work and dedication goes into making sure the supply chain all up and down it is committed to organic practices. It's worth it to pay a little extra once you understand the process.

Great video. I buy a lot of seeds. I sometimes buy High Mowing, but will start to support them much more. Organic farmers are doing the most important work on earth.

My neighbor across the street uses systemic pesticides on everything, including her 2 huge silver maples. She is so proud she has no insects...…. until we change that attitude (that also exists in the landscape/garden industry) things look bleak.
Another great & enlightening video. Just goes to show 'organic' on a label does not always mean 'totally organic' ! I will be checking out 'High Mowing Organic Seeds for sure !!!

Enlightening episode indeed! Conventional seeds may not have the traits for giving the best results when organically grown is something I never heard or thought of before. Good to know of one more great resource for buying seeds next year. BTW, Vermont looks so beautiful!
