A new trend in the charismatic has emerged where most Christians are praying in the name of their bishops, prophets, and apostles, whom they call spiritual fathers. You will hear them saying, "May God of Bishop Oyedepo answer our prayers". "May God of apostle this and that do this for us." Apostle Takim calls it stupidity because we already have the name of Jesus which are supposed to call when we are in need not the name of a bishop or a prophet.

I once watched tb Joshua telling his gullible followers that they need to go for deliverance after giving your life to Jesus, I turned off the TV. My question is if he says those things were of old testament, should we do away with everything in the old testament? Because we believe the word that is the bible from Genesis to Revelation. Number 2. how will you believe Jesus without meeting a man of God who expounds the word to you. you
It is simple, just understand what has been fulfilled in Jesus that was being practiced in Old Testament and what has been left just like that...For example, Jesus fulfilled all the ceremonial laws that's why we don't practice them in our dispensation. However, the moral laws still stands even in our dispensation...
So praying for people using oil is not moral, and delivering people from demonic oppression?
