WKJG-TV Clip: "NBC 33 News Today" Behind the Scenes

Former WKJG-TV (now WISE-TV) reporter Mark Evans takes viewers on a tour of the NBC 33 Fort Wayne Studios during the morning show in 2002. You will see me (Robert Tabern) in the control room as I do a quick interaction with Mark.

WKJG stands for "William Kunkle's Journal Gazette".In reference to the owner & publisher.

I left the station in February 2003... I got a job closer to my family after doing my homework on New Vision... and knew they just "flipped' TV stations and never held on to them for more than a couple of years... and usually there were layoffs involved. I think everyone except the main anchor (Linda Jackson) got laid off after the merger. Most are working at other stations across the country or got out of the business all together.
