Same thing is going on with my 2014 Rav4. Toyota says the only thing they can do is log this case but they said not enough people have complained to create a recall. Please, please call your dealer and create a case and hopefully Toyota will rise to the occasion. I have never had anything but Toyota, but now I wouldn't recommend Toyota to anyone. They are not standing by their name and they don't seem to care.
Yes. I do have the same issue. The dealer said that they will charge $250 for the diagnosis and then charge $100 for every hour they spend to fix the problem which is an absolute nonsense as there is no way the user/ customer at fault rather the manufacturer's defect.

This Just Happened to me 2 hours ago today is March 15th 2023 on my 2015 Toyota Corolla S, nothing Works anymore, No Radio's No Phone or Bluetooth, No Navigation The only thing that works is the Backup Camera. This is Insane
May 2022 - Posting this in case it helps anyone. My wife had her 2017 Toyota RAV4 AWD at a body repair shop for about three weeks. When she picked up the car she noticed the same problem seen in the video. We thought the radio was done. We were parked with the car key in the ignition and in an "on" position. I took out the micro SD map card and put it back in. The radio booted up like normal. Has been working since. Give this a try.
@@coachjenny7773 in the bottom right of the radio in this video there is a microsd map card cover that opens up. The microsd card is in there. That is where the microsd card was for our 2017 RAV4.

Same issue on Lexus side. 2017 Lexus NX200T f sport. I was in car audio industry in the past but I my daughter has the car in Florida. All I know it happened while my 2 kids were swapping phones on the charger. I read somewhere that is a software issue with a corrupt file. I have to wait a year so I can start working on a fix.

I just brought it in for two recalls and now this won’t work. Let’s start putting some effort into making these cars right the first time.
I just saw another video that explained that if the rear camera works then the radio has to be replace, if it doesn’t work then it may be a ground cable problem.
I would say that this exact problem IS A SAFETY HAZARD when driving at nite, because it is VERY distracting when the boot loop keeps repeating over and over. The system will not let you power it down, nor are you able to adjust the brightness on the unit. It was so annoying driving around like this constantly flashing at you.
Just had my battery replaced at the garage. Now my system is doing this as well... from what I am reading here I'm not feeling very hopeful. If there is a class action, please include me in it as well. Dang. 2014 Corolla
I have the exact same problem with my 2015 Camry SE. Based on my limited understanding, the infotainment computer failed to reboot for an unknown reason. I didn't go down deeper into software/operating system issues. What I did was by replacing the computer that is located right behind the screen. If you are tech-savvy and willing to take a risk, you can do it by yourself. If not, let somebody (technician) do it for you. I did it by myself and save myself from handing out $1300-$1500 to the Toyota dealership.
This is a major disappointment for me with Toyota. I used to stand by the brand but this is straight-up BS. I have the same issue and conveniently for them is out of warranty for repair. One morning it started doing this and since then it has been a nightmare. I will not recommend Toyota to anyone and will most likely talk anyone out of purchasing a Toyota brand for this particular reason. They don't stand by their product, they won't admit this a factory defect. I'm amazed at how many people have this same issue; it's ridiculous. They don't even offer a discount or anything other than a "Fck you" and buy another system from us.
This happened on my 2019, and the dealer wanted to sell me a new system for $6000 plus tax and labor. I'm going to try the reset and pray it comes back because I'm 1400 outside of my extended warranty. CRAZY!

@@nabeelwadwani4191 I fixed my issue. There is an SD card holder in your radio face on the dash. You need to simply take the SIM card out and your radio will work again. Your map won’t work though. I hope this helps!
I have a 2014 corolla s and about 95,000 miles and been driving it for about 4 years and the same thing just happened to mine. I'm gonna open it up and see if I can fix it myself or buy after market radio w navigation.
I thought about doing the same thing. But the aftermarket navigation systems available we're out of my price range and a replacement Toyota navigation would have just put me in the same ballpark that I was dealing with. It was a 50/50 that the navi on the replacement system would go bad as well. I ended up just buying a $100 replacement radio without navigation off eBay. If you found a solution to your problem please let us know

2011 Yaris here. Had to have spark plugs and a coil unit replaced. Since then sat nav has been flashing and I think just before it shuts down I see a battery symbol. My question…is there a battery problem now or a sat nav issue ? No dashboard indication of battery problem.
I by no means know anything about cars except where to put gas, however I found a "possible fix". A couple of people on Reddit posted that you have to unplug the car battery and zip tie the two wires together (positive and negative wires) for at least 10 minutes. Then plug the battery back in and it should work. I have not tried this because wouldn't you get shocked???!!! Try at your own risk... I don't know what to do.

2014 Rav4 our navigation system will not accept an address. Dealer said connected with radio would be $1700 to fix. No cars to sell on lot so rip off folks on repairs. Should be a recall. Honda is looking better.

I found a local repair shop who did the repair in 24 hours. Involved replacement of main system board. According to them, the original units were not properly soldered. Repair costs about $509. My family had this issue and had to purchase a full new system, now yet again, this system is failing again, and the dealership is saying to just buy ANOTHER RADIO, and they won't cover it because it's out of warranty, again. We are long term Toyota owners, and this is the worse infotainment system we have ever had. Really leaving a bad taste in our mouth as Toyota lovers. Has anyone had any success with these issues?

2015 RAV4 - This FIRST happened to me 2 years ago. I shut the engine off and restarted it about 15 secs - it rebooted. SINCE THEN it happened again, I did the same thing, it rebooted. TODAY November 16, 2022 it happened...and WILL NOT REBOOT - keeps looping... NOTHING. Swapped the radio fuse - Nope ! This is weird shit. So many of us have this issue. Not buying anymore Toyotas. I bought this Strictly because it was...a Toyota!

Guys. I bought an afternarket radio for the car. You can find them for $150-250. You WILL need to get it professionally installed though, the factory rear view camera cannot connect to any aftermarket radio so they will need to manually bypass and connect directly to the camera. I ended up paying $400-450 total for repair. But it’s MUCH cheaper than whatever toyota was going to charge for the repair.
No they want 1200 for a refurbished I called Toyota Corporation and they told me that it was not a recall but if this many people are having problem why not get as many people to call them 800-331-4331 complain please so many of us maybe they’ll do a recall
2017 Toyota Camry. Changed the battery, and my radio is now doing this loop thing…has anyone started a Facebook page to round everyone up together on this issue. This needs to be solved and they are way overdue for a solution.

My 2013 auris has the same issue. Disconnecting the power cable to the gps unit brought back my bluetooth, since the main unit has bluetooth too. But gps is gone...
I also have this problem on my 2013 Toyota Hilux. I remember watching a video from Legand Mechanic Scotty Kilmer. I think he suggested disconnecting the battery earth terminal first then disconnecting the positive terminal. Leave disconnected for a certain amount of time to drain residule power then reconnect. Will it work ? I didn't do this as I had a couple of mobile speakers that I use in the car and listen to podcasts and yt when driving. I'll try find the Scotty video. I found it but he doesn't mention anything about it fixing radios. Last week my system stop working. On CZcams I saw where the customer replaced the system.

Same thing happened to mine a week ago. Went to the dealership and they are saying they can’t do anything about it and it’s $10,000 to get a new one. May as well get a new car!

Nobody should by Toyota for own vehicles. I also have problem like that and Toyota doesn’t take response. Toyota should lease and I think Toyota only make for lease in future.

So yes. I found a solution for this but it requires you to repair the motherboard. Costs about $200-$300.

Guys. I bought an afternarket radio for the car. You can find them for $150-250. You WILL need to get it professionally installed though, the factory rear view camera cannot connect to any aftermarket radio so they will need to manually bypass and connect directly to the camera. I ended up paying $400-450 total for repair. But it’s MUCH cheaper than whatever toyota was going to charge for the repair.

No they want 1200 for a refurbished I called Toyota Corporation and they told me that it was not a recall but if this many people are having problem why not get as many people to call them 800-331-4331 complain please so many of us maybe they’ll do a recall

2017 Toyota Camry. Changed the battery, and my radio is now doing this loop thing…has anyone started a Facebook page to round everyone up together on this issue. This needs to be solved and they are way overdue for a solution.

I spoke to one of the engineers who designed the system that they knoe about the defect and there should be a recall/update for it

My 2013 auris has the same issue. Disconnecting the power cable to the gps unit brought back my bluetooth, since the main unit has bluetooth too. But gps is gone...

I seen a video of a lady saying her battery died & after she replaced the battery it went back to normal ..
I also have this problem on my 2013 Toyota Hilux.
I remember watching a video from Legand Mechanic Scotty Kilmer. I think he suggested disconnecting the battery earth terminal first then disconnecting the positive terminal.
Leave disconnected for a certain amount of time to drain residule power then reconnect. Will it work ?
I didn't do this as I had a couple of mobile speakers that I use in the car and listen to podcasts and yt when driving.

I found it but he doesn't mention anything about it fixing radios.
I should mention that he has heaps of videos on Toyota's as he loves them and gives great tips.
