    Does acrylic color wash away if you put it after baking? And why did you dip them in soapy water?

      I’m so glad you watched til the end! It’s definitely a “trust the process” situation when working with clay, sometimes. Haha!

      Probably to wash off the tiny bits left over after she sanded the edges with her dremel

    Hey guys! I tried something a little different with this video. Let me know what you think. Do you like just music, or do you prefer the voice overs? Let me know in the comments.

    Do you wait for the paint to dry before you mix it?

    Very nice! Thank you. I prefer either voice or complete silence. No music. (I always turn it off anyway. ;) )

    Can you paint the polymer clay after it is baked? My whites look a little dirty. Also, where did you find the honeycomb resin to put your pieces on when curing?

    • @greatestoftheseco7473

      So for this particular design, the paint is used to add the color to the translucent clay. So it’s mixed into the clay before baking. I hope that makes sense… lol the silicone mat, I bought from Amazon. ☺️

      Thank you for watching! I always wash my earrings in a little bit of soapy water, after sanding and drilling. That removes any excess dust and debris.

    Magnifique! 😍 Petite question est-ce vous laissez sécher la peinture et si oui combien de temps pour être que à l’intérieur ça soit sec?

    • @greatestoftheseco7473
      @greatestoftheseco7473  Před rokem +1

      Great question! I allow the paint to dry a little but not completely. It would be too crumbly if it dried completely. I hope this helps!

    Am I waiting for the paint to dry at any stage?

    • @greatestoftheseco7473
      @greatestoftheseco7473  Před rokem

      I don’t wait for it to dry completely at any stage, just enough that I don’t have a big mess. I like to have it a little tacky when I squish all the pieces together. I feel that it helps it stick together better. If you do let it dry though, just add some clear liquid Sculpey to act as a “glue” to hold it all together. I hope this helps 😅
