I used to feed seagulls with loafs of bread during lunch hour when I lived in California. Every day I’d buy a loaf of wonder bread and toss small bits of bread into the air and sea gulls would swoop down and catch it. Pretty soon I had trained them to hover just above my hand and take pieces of bread from my hand. They are incredible flyers. As a professional pilot, I can only admire their mastery of the air.
