For me I always win against irelia at level 1 if you weave auto-q-auto, it increase your damage output a lot instead of straight up q-ING. What I do with a lot of my irelia match up is I play it like how dariuses play. Hide in a bush that she will walk by, either river pixel or top lane bush, and hit her and get her low and just get her off minions at level 1. That is the only point I can zone her. Once she gets level 2 somehow and if you didn't manage to kill her before that, or if you just didn't manage to zone good enough then just farm till 6 and fight her with ult. Ignite is definitely helpful too.
Thank you for this guide ! What do you ban then when playing Yorick? I recently found that the Jax matchup is winnable most of the time. My main concern are Tryndamere, if he play correctly I have no way winning against him (even buying warden's mail)
Ngl, I just build botrk and auto q her down. You don’t even need minions with %health from maiden. You just beat her in the auto game. She dashes around trying to be fancy healing for 30hp while I’m autoing her for %botrk and %maiden. Auto q is 50% of her health at lvl 9 with the item :/
Only time irelia actually wins is if she’s smart enough to freeze and the jungler is dumb enough not to notice or help for 10 mins. Takes 2 players for irelia to win tbh. If you go even close to even you just win.
One more tip is (heard from slogdog) to stand on your ghouls so she can't oneshot them as easily.
