He even said that bayern had the knockdown but it was real madrid who headed it... clearly. Obviously the bayern players were involved so theyd be offsides anyway, but he managed to get so much wrong in a 1 minute analysis

Soo it wasn't a goal huh are you sure .? It because you don't know anything about that match huh @@CJSteib
Does he actualy know that knees count for offsides? It's pretty clear that Mazraoui's knee is offside compared to rudiger's leg/shoulder. Since Deligt forced the movement of Rudiger towards him instead of covering Mazraoui who is supposedly onside, he influenced the action while offside. In both cases it is an offside, and that's why referee stopped the game. When you don't influence the action whatsoever, that's when the offside is considered passive and doesn't count.
Wrong analysis... This angle isn´t really the offside angle VAR is checking and Mazraoui is offside with his knee actually by looking at the real angle VAR is taking. Due to the fact that Mazraoui is interefering in the game it is called passive offside so it can be whistled of course. Due to the fact the referee whistled the goalkeeper from Madrid stopped playing. The goal is not allowed which is the right decision.
Mazraoui didn't even touch the ball, unless he has an invisible body part.
It cannot be whistled. The referee must not stop play in a situation like this.

For my analysis both Bayern players was offside, but let`s say Mazraoui wasn`t, still De Ligt move his body toward the ball and affecting the Real defenders and affecting the play so it doesn`t really matters if he didn`t touch the ball it`s till offside. It`s really school book offside, learn the rules. I hate Real Madrid but still it was offside, and a huge mistake by the reff not to let the play continue and than let the VAR decide if it was offside or not.
Just because De Ligt is there doesn't automatically mean he is involved with the play. he doesn't jump for the ball or touch a defender... he doesn't affect the first phase of play
@@geistakageist2932yea. That's what happened with Camavinga’s goal against Atletico and Gerard Moreno’s goal against Barca. Rudiger and Sorloth never touched the ball but, interfered the game play. Same as De ligt. So it's clear off side. The call is right.
Best explanation so far of this play. De Ligt and Mazraoui were right next to each other when the ball was passed forward. Who's to say that the passer wasn't aiming for him?
But De Ligt didn’t interfere whatsoever.

There are several points here! Firstly, the calculated duration for extra time needs to be considered. Shouldn't the referee have blown the final whistle earlier? But regarding this offside moment, until the offside line is accurately drawn in 3D, we can't discuss whether Mazraoui's knee was offside or not. However, if he is offside, it doesn't matter whether he touched the ball or not! The pressure he applied to the Real Madrid's player (Mendy) has effected the game, so it could be offside even if he doesn't touch the ball!
It is necessary to point out that according to the precise text book of the VAR rules, the assistant referee should only delay raising the flag when the attacker in the offside-suspected position makes contact with the ball. Otherwise, they can raise the flag immediately. This means that the assistant referee's performance was exactly in line with the rules, but it would have been better if the referee had waited a bit before blowing the whistle.
no matter how i look, both players are offside....
Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, though in high stakes champions league matches, the referee mistakes are always on their side, kinda bizzare...
The goalie stood still after the whistle
Hey guys ! When you play against Real Madrid, you must expect such things coming the referees. It's not the fist time that it happens.
It's offside because ... Although Mazraoui was onside but De Ligt was offside and he created a challenge which caused an interference.,..So by rule's it's offside
Where is this challenge that de ligt made? He didn’t challenge anything?
He gets on the direct path between the ball and Rüdiger, a nearby defender. That is interference and triggers an offsides.
And that is before you even consider that these still frames definitely make it look like Mazraoui was offsides too anyways.
Absolutely this! Offical wiki says: The officials must judge if the player without the ball is involved in the play in some way - for example, by challenging for the ball or, say, obstructing the goalkeeper's vision. In that case, the player would be judged offside despite not having touched the ball. - De Ligt attacked the situation, he tried to get the ball when it was lobbed from the midfield, so he was in offside, this is objectively the offical statement.
@@CoffeeGameMovie Technically they should have allowed the play continue and let the VAR do the judgement to avoid a situation like this right now where everyone makes up theyr own truth and narrative. Not saying ur wrong but people will and can argue for days about the "challenging for the ball" part. I could imagine that Lunin would had saved it but still (Real and the fans wont care) but people will call them cheaters (to be fair they have had several "cheating" moments before so nothing new).

@@Yesnt0073 human error.
Yes the problem is not that the defenders stopped the problem is that the referee blew the whistle too early.
1. Offside position
It is not an offence to be in an offside position.
A player is in an offside position if:
any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents’ half (excluding the halfway line) and
any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent
The hands and arms of all players, including the goalkeepers, are not considered. For the purposes of determining offside, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit.
A player is not in an offside position if level with the:
second-last opponent or
last two opponents
2. Offside offence
A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by:
interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by a team-mate or
interfering with an opponent by:
preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision or
challenging an opponent for the ball or
clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or
making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball
*The first point of contact of the 'play' or 'touch' of the ball should be used
or
gaining an advantage by playing the ball or interfering with an opponent when it has:
rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar or an opponent
been deliberately saved by any opponent
A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately played* the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent.
*‘Deliberate play’ (excluding deliberate handball) is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility of:
passing the ball to a team-mate;
gaining possession of the ball; or
clearing the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it)
If the pass, attempt to gain possession or clearance by the player in control of the ball is inaccurate or unsuccessful, this does not negate the fact that the player ‘deliberately played’ the ball.
The following criteria should be used, as appropriate, as indicators that a player was in control of the ball and, as a result, can be considered to have ‘deliberately played’ the ball:
The ball travelled from distance and the player had a clear view of it
The ball was not moving quickly
The direction of the ball was not unexpected
The player had time to coordinate their body movement, i.e. it was not a case of instinctive stretching or jumping, or a movement that achieved limited
contact/control
A ball moving on the ground is easier to play than a ball in the air
A ‘save’ is when a player stops, or attempts to stop, a ball which is going into or very close to the goal with any part of the body except the hands/arms (unless the goalkeeper within the penalty area).
In situations where:
a player moving from, or standing in, an offside position is in the way of an opponent and interferes with the movement of the opponent towards the ball this is an offside offence if it impacts on the ability of the opponent to play or challenge for the ball; if the player moves into the way of an opponent and impedes the opponent's progress (e.g blocks the opponent) the offence should be penalised under Law 12
a player in an offside position is moving towards the ball with the intention of playing the ball and is fouled before playing or attempting to play the ball, or challenging an opponent for the ball, the foul is penalised as it has occurred before the offside offence
an offence is committed against a player in an offside position who is already playing or attempting to play the ball, or challenging an opponent for the ball, the offside offence is penalised as it has occurred before the foul challenge
It'is clear offside
The header pass back was not from Nasser but from Real Madrid player Mendi number 23. The pass was to Nasser he was onsite and never touches de ball. What a massive error this was.
mazraoui never even touched the ball
He doesn't have to. He went up with the defender which is enough intervention.
😂😂Ai REF, BETTER TAKE OVER NOW FR ☠️
Both Bayern players Mazraoui and De Ligt were offside. The rule says you shall wait till the chance is over. That was exactly when the Madrid defender headed the ball back into the field. Ergo the flag and whistle were exactly conform with the rules. A goal after a whistle never can be regular.

It is good you said according to your analysis. It was unfortunate the referee and his officials made a premature call. You cannot actually prove whether Masroui was offside or not because De Leigt was closer to him and the latter's offside was obvious. The match officials brought this upon themselves because there was no need for the game to have extended to that time. The game should've ended after the 99th minutes which was a sufficient added time. Why did De Ligt interfered with the play? Do you think Madrid's defenders and goalkeeper could've stood there and watch De Ligt take a shot? Common let's not downplay the fact that Real Madrid deserved to qualify for the finals.
Real was lucky as so often… if Neuer doesn’t do that horrible mistake 2 min b4 the end it would be a all German final
Yup and if my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike
whether real players stopped playing after the whistle or not , bayern players still hand the chance to make something out of it if the play was still on , madrid fans are too overconfidently sure their players will defend , i doubt it after what alphonso davies just did to rudier
There’s a lot of what ifs:
What if the flag didn’t go up? Things could have turned out differently. The whistle wouldn’t have blown, and the defenders and the keeper would have reacted differently. Hence, who knows what could have happened.
If the referee hadn't blown the whistle, the RMD players wouldn't have stopped. I am sorry, but all judges are calling this a foul, but in fact, the RMD players stopped all at once and byern scored against static objects
offside; the hands and arms are not considered, but the end of the sleeve of the player's shirt. furthermore, the goalie and defenders made an evident pause before the shot, which refutes the argument that it would have been a guaranteed goal.
Clear offside, mate. De Ligt was in the offside position when the ball was passed towards him and Musiala. Since the ball was heading his way (doesn't matter if he didn't touch the ball) he is considered to be interfering with the play as he is. Also, the rules state if the defender intercepts the ball that was heading towards a player(s) in a offside position (Rudiger got to the ball first) the linesmen must raise his flag. Everything was by the book. Yes, the main referee could've not blown the whistle since it was a close call, but if he hadn't the Madrid players wouldn't have stopped playing and De Ligt would not get a free shot on goal. Football is easy when you know the rules.
The thing is, the player who touched it after the pass wasnt even mazraoui, if u look closely it was mendy who touched the ball (real madrid player), and the first bayern player who touched it was muller who was clearly not offside
The player who was off side was running to try to catch the ball when the pass was thrown. That's enough to determine it was offside. He didn't ha e to touch the ball.

Are knees or lower body not consider for oxides? I think knee was offside however a var review would have been nice. Lastly the whistle stoped the game and he still had to score it. I dont think it would have been an easy goal. Much respect to both team and fans. Two big teams.
Typical Real Madrid corruption.
The offical rule, what u can find in any football related wikis says this: "The officials must judge if the player without the ball is involved in the play in some way - for example, by challenging for the ball or, say, obstructing the goalkeeper's vision. In that case, the player would be judged offside despite not having touched the ball." - so as De Ligt absolutely was involved in the attack, as he attacked the ball, moved to its direction while it was in the air, he was in offside. The referee made the right decision objectively.
Bro to be honest both players are active in the play when the pass starts and its on air both players are chasing it so its definitely offside even if the ball went to mazraoui.
A striker can be yards offside and the linesmen refuse to raise their flags but it goes up instantly on this occasion and the ref blows at once.
Something stinks here.
What if they wanted to save some time - which would mean favoring Bayern?
@@lajosnekorosi3047this is the most logical explanation to what occured on Wednesday night at the Bernabeu. The referee added 5 extra minutes just to help Bayern Munich, but they'll not mention that aspect of the game.
to me, its an offside. they were both running side by side when the ball was crossed into THEIR direction. claiming that the ball was clearly crossed to Mazraoui is not true. de Ligt was going for the ball too. its an offside.
I'm not sure who is crying more, barca fans or bayern fans.
Game stopped, that's why they scored. Lunin would save that but before that it might been a penalty.
But the game shouldn't have been stopped. What if the game was stopped right before Joselu's second goal? Who would be crying then?
@holyroller9112 they checked the var and he scored while it was a play. Bayer scored after the whistle. Bayer had many chances during the play and they did not shot on target. So you cannot say it was a goal.
the goal keeper would have saved it easily if the referee didn't whistle. so you can't call it a goal besides the referee should have ended the game at minute 9 or even 11 which is two minute prior to this incident
ref should not have blown the whistle. the attack should have played on then var would decide if it was valid, and the players would have defended so it may not have been a goal. either way referees mistake cost bayern a chance for a goal.
So what can you say about the 5 minutes added extra minutes to the official 9 minutes?
Why don't we have clips from VAR? So dissatisfying..
The time I made this video there was no VAR update. It was just an early look out. But check on my channel there is an updated video with VAR clips
Because this play did not even go to VAR at all and was never checked, it is not even an incident, it is not a "disallowed goal". The whistle was blown way before the shot occurred.
De Ligt who was offside took part in the action, engaged defenders and shot the goal. How this could be correct?
Madrid players stopped playing. lunin was just stood and watched. bayer can only score if Madrid players stop playing
they shoot the gool after whistle and Loonin just stoped acting . after whistle it doesnt depent offside or not the gool has to be cancelled
Lunin would have saved it but he stopped when the ref blew the whistle
Muller offside
Clearly the referee murdered BM and in exchange for some hefty rewards from RM management
WRONG, wrong and WRONG again. Mazroui’s right knee, right shoulder and possibly his head are offside by less than 1 foot.
It was not however madrid players stopped playing because of the whistle, so even if the play continue what guarantees it was going to be a goal?
Clear offside
The other participated in the game therefore there's influence, offside
The knee was offside that is a shooting leg just zoom on the foot placement of rudiger this is offside only with centimetres but offside is offside but the ref could atleast check the var
It's clean offside
If you zoom in your picture, you can see, that the knee of De Ligt is as far ahead as Mazraui’s and your white line is far from parallel. So it was a clear offside.according to your video.
just because he went onside it sti counts as offside because de ligt decided to go back doesn't mean the pass wasnt to him but yea imo you shouldn't call that prematurely but his feet was barely offside
That was after the pass

stop calling it an offside goal..its not even a goal when the game already stop by ref. easy
You're contredicting yourself... you say that when the ball is crossed, both players chase it. And later you say that the ball wasn't passed to De Ligt. But clearly De Ligt went for the ball, but let it go once he saw he couldn't reach it. But he interfered the play, so he counts to the offside. And by the way, the other player might also be offaide. Need to use better quality images and a thinner line to make a real assessment.
Never heard of passive offside when you interfere with the game? If you are actively involved in the play when you are offside, you will be punished for offside since you are still in the game. Look up Messi offside trap and compare De Ligt play and Messi. Messi is not involved in the play and doesn't take defenders attention but here Rudiger was closing De Ligt and thus, it's a clear involvement in the play.
Second thing, after whistle it doesn't matter what you do. It doesn't count if you score. Bellingham scored a winning goal vs Valencia this season but the goal didn't stand because the ref was whistling to end the game on 98th minute even though Real was crossing the ball to goal area. You cannot score a goal after whistle and then complain why it doesn't stand
well thats just not true is it. De Ligt is free to move anywhere on the pitch as long as he doesn't attempt to get the ball, block or nudge another player. It's not on him what Rudiger does.
@@geistakageist2932 no, he cannot move anywhere and distract defenders even though he doesn’t touch the ball. It all depends, if you’re offside, try not to interfere with the play. Look up Messi’s offside trap and compare De Ligt and Messi actions

It's not a question where goal stands or not. It's technically cannot be counted after whistle and var cannot review it.

Real madrid is always favored , they won't have won nore than r champions league without assistance from officials
1. Real's players stopped playing when the whistle was blown.
2. De Ligt was offside, and since his presence there affected the play, it should be ruled out as offside for interfering with the play.
3. Why is no one talking about how the referee added **9 minutes**, and then an additional 3 (Bayern scored in the 112th minute), when there were nearly no injuries or VAR checks?
4. People saying Real Madrid (Florentino Perez) bribe referees, why would he bribe ANY high profile referee when just ONE can get him in jail for years?
1. Only lunin who was off his line stopped rudiger (should have been sent off) and militao both tried to block it.
2. de ligt didn’t interfere as the ball was nowhere near rudiger or militao and it was mendy who got it anyway
3. After the var check for the second goal and the extensive celebrations every time a Bayern player thought about tackling the Madrid player with the ball they would go down holding their leg and they kept kicking it out of bounds to waste time which ended up adding more to the stoppage time.
4. Simple he wants to win and also it was so obvious they were bribed rudiger literally picked Kane off his feet and threw him he also pushed Kane in his upper back and head using his arms to stop Kane from crossing it into the box whilst Bayern were on a breakaway/counter. Nacho literally grabbed kimmich by the throat darth Vader type shi and threw him to the floor which should have been a straight red as a matter of fact that move is banned in the ufc and would result in a punishment of some sort (likely a points deduction) but for Real Madrid no card whatsoever which let’s be real if it was any other team apart from Barcelona that’s a straight red meaning Real Madrid would have had 0 cbs playing during the latter half of the second half and because rudiger got the assist they wouldn’t have took the lead

It doesn’t matter. We have seen cases in which just making the run is considered playing for the ball. Using that logic, de ligh made the run thus playing for the ball
Masraoui was offside as well
Does it Fucking matter anymore?
Both Bayern Munchen players are involved in the play, are running forward, and one of them is clearly offside, so regardless of who hits the ball, their position affects the hole play. My opinion is : offside
I am glad you admitted Matthijs De Ligt was offside because it made my argument easier. Apparently, you know nothing about interference. It is true that Deligt did not receive the ball but he interfered in the play. It is not like he was offside but walking away from the play. Deligt's offside position was part of the play. His offside position slowed down the defender Rudiger from reaching Mazraoui which is an interference in the play. Therefore offside is called even if he did not receive the ball when he was offside. Rudiger had to go around Deligt to reach Mazraoui which slowed him down and allowed Mazraoui to break free. This is INTERFERENCE and you cannot interfere if you are in an offside position.
Of course the easier argument was for you to admit that both Deligt and Mazraoui were offside, just because Deligt was more offside, does not mean that Mazraoui was not.
