    Well Lisa, what can I say, I had never heard of calzones before I thought it was perhaps an area of a farm that was sealed off just for the cows, but no, these look so tasty and delicious that I think I could easily have these for my Christmas dinner on Wednesday and I mean that awesome, awesome, awesome and it really helps you showing the finished product at the start of each video, fantastic my girl fantastic!!!

      Oh my-you don't have calzones! I never did look up why they are named that-lol. But in your case we will name them cowzones-lol. Thanks David! A true calzone when you order it out-well most of the time for delivery has tons and I mean tons of ricotta and cheese. I prefer these little bit of everything and a good dough/crust. Thank you!

    Omg, awesome! I don't have the ninja grill, but I bought the grill grates for the foodi,I have the ninja foodi deluxe. Can i make it on grill grate and what time and temp would you recommend?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety +1

      I would use the grill side so air can circulate around the dough. I would use the same temp and time. 375F for 13-14 minutes. But use an instant read thermometer to be sure ingredients Arte hot inside and also the dough is 200F. degrees. thanks ellen kudron! Wish I had more pizza dough I would give this a try right now.

  • @aybeeherc
    @aybeeherc Před 4 lety +1

    watched all your videos on the foodi grill.
    Just got one for Christmas...
    How do you know the temps for everything? Like times to set and temperature check on the food to make sure it’s cooked?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety

      I do practice runs and see what works. The Foodi is similar but usually takes longer to cook. So I learned the times and temps for the Foodi and just watch and decrease the times in the Grill. Practice-the first couple of times you make something-you'll get a feel for the grill.
      Thank you for watching all my videos! Thank you Ashley Hercules!

    If I added mushrooms or spinach do I need to worry about added moisture?

    My all time favourite pizza onions,mushrooms and extra cheese. Is it best to sauté them first to remove the moisture? Where can I get the roasting rack? It’s not listed on your Amazon . I live in Canada.

    Thank you. Another delicious meal. Where did you get the grilling rack? Not having much luck getting items for the Ninja. Toronto Canada.Eh! Maybe i need to look harder. :-)

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety +1

      Yeah the rack was difficult to get-I had to wait until it was back in stock at Ninja Kitchen. Some people have looked for other racks and cut them to fit in the grill. I'm thinking they will be back in stock in January once the Christmas rush is over. It would have been nice if Ninja included it with the basic Ninja Foodi grill-which is the one I purchased. Thanks Chris lee!

    Question for you. I thought the instruction manual said not to use olive oil or cooking spray like Pam ?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety +1

      I treat the grill like my regular oven and if I used olive oil when I made a roast or roasted veg or these calzones I will continue to do so.(don't mean this to sound harsh) I have not had any problems with smoking these items.
      This is just what I do-not saying if this is right or wrong but I'm doing what works for me. I think people are over thinking with these products.
      Make that calzone and have fun and enjoy it!
      Thanks Lillian!

    What is the brand of the pizza dough?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 3 lety +1

      Think it was just the store brand Price Chopper but Trader Joe’s is better. Also I use a local Italian store pizza dough- very good. Also ask your favorite pizza place they may sell it to you. Thanks!

    you don't put any tomato sauce?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety

      I never put any in the calzone always have a tomato/marinara dipping sauce. It would make it too wet-especially with the ricotta cheese- Thanks Julie O'Neil!
