i usually dont comment these, but i've never seen anyone play like Rw9 does. Right now he's just the best. I hope to see more from him. Mawkzy is such a great player as well, but Rw9 is just on a different level. ggs

Rw9's defence is just something I have never seen before, he's just so consistent with it almost all the time and pre jumps whenever it feels right and mixing up sometimes, just too good performance from him and he definitely deserves that win, ggs to both players and Mawkzy did a decent job there otherwise it wouldn't be that much of an interesting series WP.
Yeah it definitely seems like Rw9 always has like the perfect calculated touch. Like he always know how to save shots and score shots with the such precision and calculations. While some may say this is a hot take… Rw9 is OKhalid’s predecessor and likely the best itw from Mena.
@@dbean5174 I totally agree with you, he's just on another level of reading people shots and saves, even Mawkzy (one of the best players of 1v1 especially in flicks consistency) admitted that he's struggling with his defense abilities, and also he's definitely oKhaliD's predecessor imo.

Losing 1 series to another player doesn't make that player better, otherwise Toxiic is better than Mawkzy, Oaly is better than Joreuz, evoh is better than Daniel. Use some sense.

Two tournaments, also divided into different parts for the different regions
so there are two big tournaments going on propdrops and feer 5k. there are two feer 5ks for NA and EU/MENA and there are 3 for prodrops NA, EU, and AMENA. the winners in those tourneys will play world finals against the other winners in the respective tournaments

Not really surprising top RLCS pros underperformed in the finals right before a LAN major... What's more important to a pro - winning a minor/showmatch 1v1 tournament for $1K, or focusing on winning a major for a top 4 minimum $6M paycheck, up to $33K for a major win?
These 1v1s should absolutely be taken with a grain of salt. Neither RW9 nor Mawkzy are playing in the major next weekend. Their focus is absolutely on that 1v1 tournament winnings pot. The RLCS pros (FK, AppJack) are FAR more concentrated/concerned with the major than this event. I like the idea of hosting relatively big 1v1/2v2 tourneys when all the best players are gathered for a LAN match. But make no mistake: every top tier RLCS pro 1s player is INFINITELY more concerned about winning that world champ title than any non-RLCS qs/2s tourney.

Different tournament - fairly convincing is a stretch. It was 3-1 but last two games were extremely close. Rw9, mawksy Daniel trk and yanx are prob top 5 currently in ones
