Its normal.The song speaks of the wish of every parent to see his/kids succeed. Unfortunately this environment has created exceptions to that reality. Its sad!
It's normal Vimbai, the truth in the song coupled with the composition and exceptional arrangement of instruments an vocals can only but drive you into self introspection. That feeling is normal. I also identify with that.

This song reminds me of my mom when i was still doing my Primary education, she would come to school end of term to witness her last born scooping a top position. Before the official announcement of top 10 by the school head, she always screamed my name “mwana wangu iyeeyeeee”😂😂. Unfortunately she passed away before i even finished my ordinary level. I would have wanted to remind her what she used to do and see the man I’ve become

Indeed it's a tribute to Mdhara Tuku and you expressed yourself the Tuku way. When I listened to it first time, i told my wife that Tuku was actually alive through Jah Prayza. I became attached to the song to the extend that I played this song on repeat and worked on my academic paper all night and as I am writing this comment, its buzzing in my ears. Thanks Jah. Uchiripo murume, rova ndima. To the band members and the producers, thanks guys. Thanks once again. Jah, lets have more of this. Hats off and headbowed. I remember holding your first demo song way back in 2008 thereabout in Budiriro 1, juxtaposing the demo to this latest offering, 12 years down the line haaaaa you have matured mudhara.
