    nice tutorial, I follow step by step, but what I want its to make it appear and disappear with the same effect, in this case the glow only appear while image is desappearing, but it doesn't have glow in its appearence

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 4 měsíci

      To reveal things with the same effect you can just reverse the animation by precomposing everything, right click, time, time reverse layer

    Is there a way to add an effect to the line edge, such as pre-made lightning? I have some VFX assets of lightning that I'd like to use. I tried different methods with screening on the Logo Line, Logo Vanish precomps, different mattes, but I couldn't make it work. I'd like see if it's possible?

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 9 měsíci

      You can try animating the lighting manually by keyframing position so that it stays on top of the line

    • @KaptaynAmeryka
      @KaptaynAmeryka Před 9 měsíci

      @@SmertimbaGraphics I tried that, but the effect ends up covering the entire logo. I'll have to think on it a bit. I really want this dissolve with lightning within the line edge to work 😔

    can we make to so that it reveals the logo. and is it possible to do this is premiere pro.

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Technically you could reverse the animation by reversing its speed, also it would be possible to do in premiere pro, but it would require a lot of extra steps to replicate the effect

    when i try to change the color, i add a fill to logo line but the entire logo line appears on my screen. how do i make it so it only changes the color of the part that is dissolving?

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 10 měsíci

      Try adding colorama effect instead, then adjust the output of colorama

    Is there a way to change the color of the dissolve multiple times in a single animation? So change from pink to blue and then green within the same 10 seconds?

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yes, you can keyframe the fill or add hue/saturation and animate the hue throughout the timeline

    bro i can not find matte in After effect even i press a toggle switch but i can't see matte. btw i am using adobe after EFFECT "2022"

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 11 měsíci

      For older after effects versions just set track matte to alpha matte or inverted matte from the dropdown. If track matte column is not there then right click and enable it that way.

    What version after effect do you use ? is there any difference in versions

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I use the latest version at a time, this was most likely a 2023 version at that time.
      There are usually slight differences, the big one was when they changed how track matte looks and is applied

  • @-dtp5790
    @-dtp5790 Před 2 měsíci

    I did everything you did but somehow it is reversed for me and when I unbox the inverted matt the logo is fully glow and then it fades out

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 2 měsíci

      You probably made a mistake along the way, don't know what exactly could it be though

  • @rzy5828
    @rzy5828 Před 3 měsíci

    Hey man, I did everything up to here without any problem 3:42 but when I add the glow effect, it gets added to my logo instead of the line, and the line still remains black,
    What should I do?

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 3 měsíci

      What color is the line? Dark colors can't glow

    • @rzy5828
      @rzy5828 Před 3 měsíci

      @@SmertimbaGraphics I realized what the problem is, the logo I created has deep glow effect, so when I add glow effect to "logo line" layer, it also gets applied to the logo and it looks messed up. But when I delete the deep glow effect from the logo, it's all right.
      Do you know how i can avoid glow effect getting added to the logo without having to delete the deep glow effect 😢?

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Před 3 měsíci

      Well, you could create the same logo without deep glow and then add it when needed, like during an animation so it wouldn't look messed up
