Just confirming, you’re a judge right?
Yes, I am a Lvl 1 judge for Digimon.
What about partition and DP reduction? My understanding is that DP reduction doesn't count as leaving the battle area.
He mentioned it at the beginning of explaining partition. It was brief but he did mention dp reduction
I did briefly mention it, but just to make it clearer, being deleted for having 0 DP will trigger partition.
DP reduction doesn't count as "being deleted by an effect", because the game rules are deleting it, and that might be what you are remembering. But being deleted by DP reduction will always count as "leaving the battle area"
@@_TCTree_ that's strange because I could have sworn with Brigadramon having that inheritable, he still couldn't escape DP reduction.
In that case, the reason the inheritable won't save him isn't because it doesn't count as "leaving the battlefield"
It's because even if you do use the inheritable effect, the DP reduction will still remain. So even though it prevented it from leaving the battlefield once, the game will still see that Brigadramon has 0 DP and delete it again.
@@_TCTree_ I see. So partition gets around that because that Digimon is no longer around to have 0 DP.
