This is one of my very favourite episodes. It's superbly well written and provides real emotion as well as having some of the best gags in the series.
And when the Prince has finished Pishing can the Duke take a dump?🤣 classic!

I like this episode. I like the juxtaposition between the sentimental and the funny. They're really good at writing that kinda stuff.

“Wireless” is a good episode, not quite as funny as many others but quite a sensitive and heartfelt one. The next one “Dial-a-Bus” is one of my least favourites, but the three episodes following that are excellent.
Maybe its cuz I am seeing them for the first time but they all seem smashing to me! Might have to watch the show through a few times to pick out my favorites and least favorites

@@BlueShadow777 so Nigel Thornberry on The Wild Thornberry's always said that, but it was like a joke in itself. I did start hearing it more when I was watching Still Game and I was like "oh, that's actually great its... smashing!"

You'll like the Ricky gervais show but he has "an introduction to Karl pilkington" where Ricky reveals his mate Karl for the first time who ends up being the star of the other show,just so you know who's who,its recordings of their conversations while doing an xfm radio show,and its been made into an animation,even the guy who animates family guy says its genius!
I've seen aj idiot abroad before and my brother showed me some of that animated thing a WHILE ago, so im familiar with it, but great suggestion I should check out the full animation

@@emander8340 my older brother plays guitar younger plays piano and guitar i used to play trumpet and piano but stopped after high school. I do still sing a lot though as I started going to karaoke a few years ago

You know what’s good about watching Still Game on your channel, there’s no constant comments about how hard it is to understand the accent, that is refreshing cause I get really bored listening to how we Scots are so hard to understand.

I wasn't expecting to hear songs i knew, and knowing how I look, I probably don't look like the kind of person who would know "In the Mood" at least hahaha
Must admit, I wouldn't pick any series over any others for Still Game, I reckon it was one of the most consistently great sitcoms I have seen, okay it might have tailled off a bit right towards the end, but it was still good. Have you checked out Black Books, Father Ted or the IT Crowd? all excellent and well worth checking out.
Heard of black books, haven't watched it. Father Ted just got recommended to me recently. And iblve watched all of the IT Crowd, excellent show
You should add the UK TV show 8 out of 10 cats does countdown to your list of shows to watch. Countdown was the show Winston was watching when he used the 7 twice.

This for me is the only "bad" episode they did in the original 5 series run.
And even then it's still a really solid episode with a cracking payoff joke at the end.
I just feel this is more of an emotional, heartfelt episode that a comedy episode.
Ford and Greg are masters at mixing emotion and humour in Still Game, but for me this is the one episode that is just too much on the emotional side and not enough in the comedy side for me really.
Still well worth a view with you though my man to see what you thought about it.
