I wasn't surprised by the betrayal, but I still thoroughly enjoyed Arken's part in things. He was great.

I didn’t realize it until I went back and checked, but the scene where Alina sneaks into the carnival and sees the cheesy show of “Alina” with the actress that looks nothing like her, is genius because the “fake” Alina is actually a nod to how Alina looks in the books.

The crows were the best part 😭😂😂 I’ve always liked SoC more then S&B 😅😅
I got to say though, Jessi/Ben/Archie and the writers and all the film crew did an incredible job making S&B so much fun, I think they improved and flushed out even the weaker aspects of the books to make it so compelling. I love the crows always, but I was surprised with how much I cared for the S &B storyline as well. Especially Mal!! They did a fantastic job with this show

I couldn’t even finish S&B the books, idk why but the books were just so hard for me to read 😂😂 but I loved SoC and when they were on the screen, I LOVE THEM. I enjoyed their parts more probably because I’m in love with the books 😆😂

So you’re telling me it wasn’t a comedy?
The parts following Alina was pretty serious... The parts with the crows was pretty chaotic.
Didn't read the books. Crows were fun. But their storyline - Favourable coincidences, mess up, awesome escapes(read plot armour), repeat!
General Kirigan storyline(upto ep 5) awesome set up, great duality in character, expected yet stunning reveal, & just when you start hoping for real scary evil, the show downpowers him to make the "good" guys look more "heroic".... and at the end i kind of feel Kirigan is pretty honourable, kind of reasonable, actually even tempered guy, has a valid point, a bad plan that might actually save his people! Dont know, i would rather see his interesting journey.....
So tell me, if this wasn't intentional, how's the script not a comedy?
