Listening to this song takes me to my school days - Coming back home from school, somehow stuffing my face with food and then rushing off to play with friends. During the brief interval between getting ready to run off to the football field or the cricket ground and taking a couple of quick bites, inevitably the TV would be switched on and all these songs would be playing one after the other. Next day, it would be our turn to become Lucky Ali or Bombay Vikings or Shaan and sing the songs in the classroom substituting the desks for drums and all other sorts of percussion equipment, in a hopeless bid to impress your crush. Then, saving pocket money to buy the cassette from the nearby records shop. Playing the cassette on the tape recorder and rewinding the cassette to the favorite part of the song or the specific song so as to play it again and again on loop. Ahh!! those were the days!
