This was probably the most helpful blush review I have seen. I love the bare minerals bounce and blur mauve blush and I this video definitely made me want to get another with that formula and try the mac glow play- I definitely agreed that those formulas looked the most airbrushed.

I agree with you about the Saie blushes, I really love them. I have Peachy and Rosy and they’re both great on my light/light-medium skin tone. I think I need to pick up Poppy. Also thinking I need a Bare Minerals blonzer, those look gorgeous! I’m also waiting on a Phytosurgence blush to come in the mail. 😊

I bought the glow play blush in grand on your recommendation and I am very pleased with the formula, it’s really special and I love having a cream option that isn’t really a cream. I might have to pick up another even though I’ve run out of room for more blush 😳

Don’t mind me, I’m just hiding my six colourpop serum blushes... in my? Their? Defence I only use undereye concealer so there is nothing for them to lift, and they’re good for the Elizabeth Bennet “I’m not wearing makeup I just like to take brisk morning walks through the countryside” look. I feel you, I have wanted one of the cover Fx blush duos for years and still haven’t pulled the trigger.
Ok ok maybe I need to try just a touch of concealer and see if there's a use for them. Thanks for the suggestion, I too want to look like Elizabeth Bennet.

Blurred Buff is one of our FAVORITE formulas and shades too. Also love the MAC Glow Play blushes, they are such similar formulas! How you describe the Blonzer formula, it sounds really similar to the Almay Healthy Hue blush formula, we LOVE the shade Nearly Nude - it's shocking they're under $10.

I have 2 of the Bounce and Blur blushes. I may have to put that Buff color on my wish list. Also, thank you for showing me how to use that Ecotools brush, I have it and have never figured out how to use it.
I'm loving blurred buff! Also have owned Mauve Sunrise for years and adore it. I'm honestly so blown away by Eco Tools, I may need to get more of their brushes.

I ordered those blonzers and almost sent back Kiss of rose bc of Amandas review but it looks amazing on you and trying it showed it was a good choice (honest beauty lit blushes are very similar but this line is unique for the depth it gives, i think it really is more than blush)

for the cover fx, i mix my brush between both sides so I get the matte and the shimmer applied. it has a similar effect as the Blonzer.

I think you would love the colourpop super shock blush in 2 cool 4 school it looks like it would be a dupe for even the bare minerals bounce and blur because of the similar consistency!

Thanks for reminding me, a few people have started asking for that so I'll start doing it. I'm in between fair and light and definitely cool-toned, most complexion products look yellow on me because I'm so cool. I tend to need foundation and concealer that are quite pink!

That is why I am surprised that you like Fitglow Lip Serum in Koi. I got Koi recently and it is way too warm on me. By the way, it is thanks to you I discovered the Fitglow Lip Serums!!! The best!!

Can you use the bounce and blur on top of the Mac studio fix Powder foundation? Power foundation helps disguise my scarring the most.
I’ve never tried powder foundation before!
I definitely prefer the Colourpop stick blushes over the cheek dew, but I am able to use the cheek dew over my Colourpop tinted moisturizer using a stippling brush. Love the colors I got so I keep using them but it’s definitely a finicky formula.

You are right ! Balmy blushers don’t work with me too -make your skin blotchy and doesn’t look good, I do feel like the balm shifts the position and I was going to buy the saie blushers like you said I was torn between the two nude shades

When I use the Colourpop, I just use my fingers and tap. Use very little at a time. It has not pilled or lifted up off my foundation. I really love mine. I use a dewy finish foundation ( Missha BB) and maybe that’s why?

That color fx toasted cinnamon blush is the most beautiful I've ever seen. But how did you get a shimmery blush to look so nice without exaggerating the pores and oil ???
I don't have much texture on my cheeks so that may be why. I have texture more around my chin

How do the Saie blushes compare to the ones from Em Cosmetics? Do they dry down?
I've never tried the Em Cosmetics Serum Blushes because all of my friends said the dropper mechanism was too much of a pain to use. What I've seen from videos is that the Em serum blushes are more gel-like, wheres the Saie is a thin, dewy liquid. It doens't set down but it doesn't feel wet on my face either. It looks like the Saie are slightly less dewy than Em but again, I haven't tried those.

Hi Kait, have you tried the Bare Minerals Gen Nude blush? If so, what's the main difference with the Bounce and Blur blush? I love Gen Nude (I have a sample size) and I'm not sure if to get a regular size Gen Nude or try a difference Bare Minerals blush. Thanks!
I haven’t tried Gen Nude but it looks like a powder, whereas bounce and blue is a cream and powder hybrid. I’m sure their website would have a description
I have both and yes, the gen nude is a traditional powder blush where as the bounce and blur feels like a dry hard packed cream. I think the gen nude blend a little faster probably bc of the powderiness but the bounce and blur look more air brushed and more luminous. I absolutely love them both, just depending on my mood that day.
I would say watch out for the shade of bounce and blur you choose, I have mauve and buff and got pink sky last and pink sky has visible glitter in outdoor light. But if you like glitter, then it’s perfect.

I jumped and bought the colourpop blush after it showed up in a previous video of yours and sadly concur-it stinks! I have found I don’t totally hate it when I shake it vigorously (because of course it also separates) and mix it about half and half with a luminizing lotion-y thing (I think I have a L’Oréal visible lift serum tint) and tap it on with my fingers. It’s sad because the color is nice, and different than the other blushes I have.
But it really doesn’t set all the way and you might still hate it!
That is way too much work for me lol

Longevity in blush formulas has to be impossible to determine as a universal factor. With my very dry skin, I need lots of moisturizing, and so I find most blushes fade pretty quickly. Even the ones I’m told are incredibly long lasting usually aren’t. I love cream blushes, but I just know the color won’t last.
I don't usually pay attention to longevity for that same reason - it's so subjective.
So this is random, but when you signed up for affiliate links did you open up a LLC to get a EIC number to use instead of your personal social security number? Or, did you use your own SSN when u signed up for the affiliate links? I have a blog, but am torn about opening up a LLC yet as I don't want to give me SSN to the affiliate links. But, i don't want to start a LLC unless i start getting more visits to my blog to earn money..... Also would u say the Saie blushes are long lasting? I know its the nature of cream blushes, but its hard finding a cream blush that stays on long and looks dewy throughout the day. I dont care for the Glossier blushes because they vanish on me after 3 hours lol

@@StateofKait ahh okay! Thank you- i always wonder about that with growing channels. that's good to know. For me it's different cause it's a lifestyle blog so i dont have high traffic yet. I know logically it isn't that bad to use your SSN with these affiliates though.( At this point though so many places that had my SSN have been hacked. lol I mean look at Experian the largest credit bureau was hacked a few years ago even!) Luckily though when i want to set up a LLC it's for the most part easy you just ned to pay a few hundred every year for your LLC.
In my opinion, a dupe for globe is the Pacifica twinkle shadow in pink moon or baby star (I can’t remember without looking at the name)

Not sure if it’s cheaper, but MAC extra dimension eyeshadow in sweet heat is a dupe for Kosas Globe.
I actually bought that because I wanted it to be a dupe but I don’t find the shades to be exactly the same and it doesn’t have the shine of the Kosas formula. I’m being sooooo strict about my dupes video 😂
