Just went on this yesterday visiting from the US. Awesome ride but a tad short. Views from the park are amazing.

@@Fortniteenjoyer13 There is a german documentary about the mounting of this coaster and the boss ronny was angry, because the Kranplatz was not verdichtet.
Hersheypark has an Intiman accelerator coaster with three inversion, and another Intiman with a vertical lift hill with a Norwegian loop.
By far, Norway's best rollercoaster. And one of the only Norwegian rollercoasters that can compare to the helix rollercoaster.

i took it tree days ago. I LOVED IT!
This reminds me of Treetops in a way, but more intense. I'd gone on this though for the sake of it to try it out. No doubt I'll enjoy it. Quick and easy. :)

this was my first ever rollercoaster. i took it today.
How is this the first norwegian loop? I took Loopen when I was a child, and Loopen has been there many years before Speed Monster. I don't know, but I think Loopen is the first loop here. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm norwegian, by the way, so norwegian comments are welcome as well as english. Love this ride, though.
+VampireZombieX A Norwegian Loop is a type of loop made out of two elements: a dive loop, then an Immelmann; forming an inversion that looks like two side by side loops. Only three coasters currently feature Norwegian Loops - Fahrenheit at Hershey Park, Helix at Liseberg and this one.

It's a great ride:) ! I think the most "overwhelming" part of the ride is the start. It doesn't look like much, but you get pushed back in your seat from how fast it accelerates.

Yup. Ronny Schäfer is his name. He shouted about how the norwegian company, that was responsible for the condensation of crane positions, didn't do their job right. The position was neither condensed nor was it wide enough, leaving Ronny Schäfer to question if the company doesn't even have a 8M tape measure.
