Thank you for this! My mom was just sent home with this and also a portable tank. I was told how to hook up the hose but that’s it. I didn’t want to touch anything else in case I messed it up.
This was a good video - however it did not even mention the water (distilled) container that the machine on the left uses. The one on the left is what my mom has.
I have the blue O2 concentrator. It used to blow warm air out of the vent. Now it blows cool air. Does it make a difference if it's warm or cool air that comes out of the vent?
Thank you. I thought it was in the middle of the line that ball should be, but my respiratory nurse said it should be below the line. Almost caused an argument... 😬
I was really hoping to see how it sounded, but she kept on talking over the sound of the concentrator so I didn’t get a good idea of how loud how noisy it is or if it’s bearable.
Filter needs changed or tubing. A lot of times means change the cord somewhere else also. Long as you are getting air it’s fine. Just needs maintenance. Red means it’s blown
I just became a nocturnal oxygen wearer. This blue machine is what I got. The hum sound I am OK with, but the double puff sound is not good. My first two nights so far were terrible sleep. Is there a machine that doesn't make the puff sound?
At first I was like, "why isn't there a clear part so you can see the oxygen?". Then I realised they probably isn't much to see. Edit: oh, the is a planner so you can see the oxygen.
Thank you for saying where the ball on flow meter should be. I've been looking for this info.

Agreed!
Thank you. I have the blue one. Set up seems easy enough. Thank you again for the video.
Thank God for this because I was not using this correctly in someone til I had to learn

Thank you 🙏🏼
Is it necessary to keep the machine perfectly level or can you raise the front of it up a couple inches so that it's tilted back a little
Thanks so much
Thank you

I have had both of those

Where do you change the filter?
How do you open up the rear panel to replace an empty oxygen bottle with a full one?
Do these concentrators require preventative maintenance from the DME company that delivered it? And if so, how often?
Once a year unless you have pets and a lot of dust. Change the internal filter.
Can you explain the alarms???
Can I check one of these on an airplane?
❤
I have question about the machine
This was very helpful, but sometimes, I get the warning ⚠️ light that comes on. Why??

How loud are these?
How do I set it up to the tank
Can it be used in car.
You would use the portable tanks in the car or poc version of the concentrator

You could just buy some extra tubes, connect them and put the oxygen concentrator in another room
Stratus 5 are the best. I set these machines up and never had a issue in the past year
How much are they?

Do u have to have the water cup
The water bottle is only used when patients prefer it. Never fill up to the max or you will get water in your hose

Why show the unit on the left if you’re not gonna show how to use it?
Both the same different brand. Functions all the same
I ask help and instructions on a dynarex Resp-02 and you didn't explain anything on my Unit . Nothing. So thanks for Nothing.
