LIVE HEARING: Boyfriend Cop Murder Case - MA v. Karen Read

- The Massachusetts woman accused of drunkenly murdering her boyfriend, Boston cop John O’Keefe, by hitting him with her car is set to appear in court on Friday. A mistrial was declared in Karen Read’s trial after a jury became deadlocked on July 1. Read’s defense team has filed motions to dismiss two of the three criminal charges that she faces, including the second-degree murder charge and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.

What is the point to televise this when we can't hear the arguments? There's 50 different mics in courtroom, and they can't move ONE to where they're talking?
I understand it's for those in the court to hear but that brings me back to my question.. why bother showing it on TV when we can't hear them? Making me angry.

Even on the podcast, how is it that I can't hear the MAIN Speaker so I turn the volume all the way up, only to have them play an ad at full blast and break my eardrums! If you lose viewers, I hope you know it's probably because of L&C's sound problem.

It wont help…the audio in the courtroom is coming across as muffled. Too many microphones in the courtroom..it’s picking up everything..which is interfering with the audio output.

The fact the Cop in charge of the Jury was on the call with Procter berating Karen is just astonishing! This is how these people operate. That should tell you all you need to know! No. She did her standard "I'll take in under advisement" because despite her already having all the info and their arguments, she's lazy (or more likely, dishonest) and hasn't herself done legal research as the case law on the matter (or knows she's not going to dismiss but won't be able to back it up with the law or logic and doesn't want to have to try in open court). It's easier to hide behind a written ruling.
All speculation of course, but if you've been following along, you know...

Karen hit him, but nothing major likley just knocked out. Higgins plow did the rest of the damage…..on purpose or unknowingly is debatable, but that hit did the most damage amd led to his ultimate death. All the injuries are consistent with this…..

@@bones343 I feel like she already has her mind made up. She’s going to rule that the jurors didn’t fill out the form. They made it sound like they were hung on all charges. Only a few jurors supposedly have been reported to state a decision was reached on two charges. They have now been exposed to media, etc., and it’s basically going to be “too little too late”.

@teachertone1 such a conspiracy multiple officers have been/are being investigated/removed. With how bad this was it's kind of hard to believe it was an honest investigation. I'm not sure how far deep the corruption actually goes but I'm certain this case is full of corruption. I'd say your a fool if you really believe the proven lies of the CW.
@@teachertone1 I was just making a prediction of the ruling. The conspiracy theory the defense put on was far fetched. Police incompetence? Definitely. I don’t know how KR hit him, but I can’t figure out any other way he would have ended up dead in the yard.
